Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Looks like the Packers have a real problem on their hands. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Ok. Now they really have a big problem. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Not even Aaron Rodgers can overcome this. Green Bay's defense is an abomination, and their OL hasn't been much better this game. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Can Sammy be Julio Jones please Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Can Sammy be Julio Jones please He is, IMO. The whole Matt Ryan part of the equation, on the other hand... Quote
inkman Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Am I the only one who had to Google DJ Khaled to figure out why he is in those bad TurboTax commercials? Quote
inkman Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 Anytime the NFL can stop getting talented musicians who are mediocre singers to sing the anthem. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 The Steelers are trying a radical new strategy to beat the Pats: let his WRs run wide open and dare him to complete the passes. Quote
SwampD Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Chris Hogan is the reason I know that the NFL is fixed, Quote
nfreeman Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Chris Hogan is the reason I know that the NFL is fixed, Whaley should've been fired. FIFY. Quote
WildCard Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Hogan is good for that system. Put him on any other team with a HOF QB and coach as the #3 wideout and he'll put up the same numbers Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Hogan is JAG w/ a HOF qb and hc. imagine what 10 looks like when he goes there. Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 do the falcons stand a chance against the patriots ? Quote
inkman Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 FIFY.Hogan's 35 catches would've made a difference? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted January 23, 2017 Author Report Posted January 23, 2017 Do people here actually think Hogan's success with the Patriots has any bearing on what he was capable of as a Bill? Belichick. Brady. We have neither. Whaley didn't let a valuable piece walk. Hogan just signed on with the greatest QB/coach combination ever. Quote
nfreeman Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Well, I think Hogan is substantially better than the parade of losers the Bills worked in at depth WR this year. Quote

That Aud Smell Posted January 23, 2017 Author Report Posted January 23, 2017 Well, I think Hogan is substantially better than the parade of losers the Bills worked in at depth WR this year. Hmm. Maybe? He got released by the Dolphins before catching on here. In just about every other situation in the league, Hogan is JAG or maybe JAG+. But he landed in NE - where smart, strong, quick WRs can post WR1 numbers on the regular. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 Well, I think Hogan is substantially better than the parade of losers the Bills worked in at depth WR this year. Hogan had 27 catches for 482 yards and 3 TDs in 12 games playing with Tom Brady. Goodwin had 29 catches for 431 yards and 3 TDs in 15 games playing with Tyrod Taylor. Lamenting the loss of Chris Hogan is such a Bills fan thing to do. Oh, and the genius decided it was a good idea to cut Terrelle Pryor, who is 3x the player Chris Hogan is. Patriot Way baby!!! Quote

Oh, and the genius decided it was a good idea to cut Terrelle Pryor, who is 3x the player Chris Hogan is. Patriot Way baby!!! But Goodwin was #3 on the depth chart when everyone was healthy, which was never. My point is that the Hogan is better than the #4-#7 guys the Bills were forced to rotate through. And Hogan is cheap. There was no reason to dump him. (I also think Hogan is better than Goodwin, but that's another story.) It's not that Hogan is a difference-maker or that the Bills would've made the playoffs if they'd kept him. Obviously that's not the case. The point is that DW is a bozo GM, and the Hogan decision is just another piece of evidence. Quote

Whaley can be criticized plenty but I don't think this is cause for concern. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 do the falcons stand a chance against the patriots ? I really think that the Falcons will win the game. They are an extremely good team with an outstanding QB and receiver group and a defence that is very sound. That said, I really don't know anything about this thing the yanks call football. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted January 23, 2017 Author Report Posted January 23, 2017 The point is that DW is a bozo GM, and the Hogan decision is just another piece of evidence. In many respects, I agree with the criticism of Whaley, but I continue to dispute the idea that releasing Hogan is a fair basis for criticizing the guy. Quote

Yanks are so lazy, they're not running towards the line of scrimmage before the snap. Quote
