Brawndo Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Rex Ryan fired Anthony Lynn HC Quote
WildCard Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) Rex Ryan fired Anthony Lynn HC So it begins I'd bet Lynn stays but every defensive coach is gone. Also means Tyrod's future just got a lot more uncertain Edited December 27, 2016 by WildCard Quote
darksabre Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Nothing will be funnier to me than firing a coach after the season is lost. They could have salvaged this season sooner if Whaley wasn't so slow to the draw. Quote

Too much going on with schemes and playbooks and what not, especially with the season being so short Rob Ryan officially gone too I still want Frank Reich Edited December 27, 2016 by WildCard Quote

Gramps Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Rex to one of the networks ... Rob to the Golden Corral. Quote
Huckleberry Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Don't get the point in doing this with one game left though. Quote
inkman Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Don't get the point in doing this with one game left though. Anthony Lynn gets a one game tryout something something Quote
SwampD Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Don't get the point in doing this with one game left though. They probably don't want to risk losing Lynn to some other team. Quote
Stoner Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Will Terry take responsibility for this blunder? Pegulas' statement: no responsibility accepted I'll be waiting. Quote
WildCard Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Will Terry take responsibility for this blunder?According to Twitter Whaley is supposed to run the next search for a HC. We'll see if that's true or not soon enough Quote
darksabre Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Gotta fire Whaley too. And Brandon. I won't accept anything less. Quote
SwampD Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 I'm so tired of Buffalo sports. Gotta fire Whaley too. And Brandon. I won't accept anything less. Throw in Schopp too while we're at it. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Tyrod benched. At first I was, "Huh?" But then I found this: Taylor’s contract calls for the Bills to make a decision about picking up an option that would guarantee him over $30 million and that money would become guaranteed if Taylor suffered a serious injury against the Jets. As a result, they won’t be running the risk on being on the hook for a quarterback that their next coach may not want at a salary that they may not want to pay. Quote
Gramps Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 According to Twitter Whaley is supposed to run the next search for a HC. We'll see if that's true or not soon enough If we don't give it to Lynn, odds are he bolts for another HC position. Why don't we give it to him, leverage his OC prowess, add a solid DC, trade Tyrod for some picks and give Cardale the ball next year with a vet as backup ? Quote
WildCard Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Apparently Whaley convinced Pegula to fire Red and hire Lynn as interim HC. Looks like Lynn is the leading candidate then Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Gotta fire Whaley too. And Brandon. I won't accept anything less. Well, get ready to accept it. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Fully prepared to hire Jeff Fischer this offseason Quote
Taro T Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 According to Twitter Whaley is supposed to run the next search for a HC. We'll see if that's true or not soon enough Well, he SHOULD have been in charge of the last HC search. ####ing Brandon. Quote

darksabre Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Well, get ready to accept it. I don't have to accept anything. I am completely indifferent about the Bills and I have no problem staying that way if they don't make the correct moves. Quote

That's where they've got you by the nuts! Quote
Jsixspd Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Gotta fire Whaley too. And Brandon. I won't accept anything less. How does Brandon continue to survive these blunders? The Ryan Hire is mostly on him! If they do retain him, why don't they keep him out of football operations completely and force him to work on purely marketing stuff like "Aaron Maybin Bobble-Head Day" or similar; he should have ZERO voice in any player or coaching decisions!
