WildCard Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 The Rams fired Jeff Fisher, aka the Dan Bylsma of the NFL (look at the Rams' offensive numbers!). Good for them.At least we know who will replace Rex now Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 At least we know who will replace Rex now I need a "get out" gif, stat! Hopefully D4rk can pull himself away from thread title changing to deliver. Quote

Iron Crotch Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 I think Tim Graham nails it here: http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/11/blame-runs-deep-bills-failings-fall-feet-rex-ryans/ I like Graham's idea to purge the football office. Whaley and Brandon have had more than enough time to expose their shortcomings re: personnel decisions. I'm not a Rex fan, but we've shuffled through coaches for years and any coach looks much better when they have talent to work with. Change needs to happen from the top down. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Woah woah woah, the hell True?? One does not suggest Jeff Fisher as Bills coach, even if only in gallows-style jest, and get away with it. Edited December 12, 2016 by TrueBlueGED Quote

Samson's Flow Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 I will quitely ban myself when we do hire him  If* if we hire him It's the most Bills thing the franchise can do. You know we are going to hire some established (read: old) coach that has won a Super Bowl before. i.e. Jeff Fischer. Quote
SwampD Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 There was a moment yesterday where it looked like some of the players had never seen snow before. Bell made a cut and Preston Brown (I think it was him) didn't even try to stop and try to tackle him because it looked like he didn't want to slip in the snow. It was ugly all game long. Quote

That was some ugly . He's also the guy that wound up on his knees as Bell cut up field later on. I assume these guys have different cleats for snow, and it was like Brown (both of them, actually) forgot to bring the snow ones. Quote

I assume these guys have different cleats for snow, and it was like Brown (both of them, actually) forgot to bring the snow ones. Some blame has to go to the equipment mangers then, no? I just don't understand how this can happen at this level. On that turf, with the right cleats, the snow should have been a non-issue. Quote
WildCard Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Let's hire Mike Smith, TB defensive coordinator Edited December 12, 2016 by WildCard Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 Jeff Fisher is the losingest coach in NFL history. He'd be a perfect fit for the Bills... or Browns. Quote
darksabre Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 Jeff Fisher is the losingest coach in NFL history. He'd be a perfect fit for the Bills... or Browns. Maybe that's the trick. Hire the WORST coach possible and it'll like reverse the polarity of the earth or something. Quote
