Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Really appreciate that penalty. This team really needs to be able to throw, though. Running has been nice but it's not enough to consistently win games or separate yourself. Going to kill McCoy relying on him so much. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Tyrod needs to be a quarterback at some point. Quote
Neo Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 (edited) ***** Today is a day for Tyrod's legs, marginally, over his arm. OR ... as Randall suggested ... even better. Edited October 9, 2016 by N'eo Quote
Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Tyrod needs to be a quarterback at some point. I've been trying to hold out hope on this, but I don't think it's going to happen. Quote
WildCard Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 I've been trying to hold out hope on this, but I don't think it's going to happen. We either blow it up, or we're stuck with him. Unless we get a broken Romo Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Tyrod needs to be a quarterback at some point. That's not going to happen. On the bright side, we didn't give Osweiler oodles of money, nor did we give up a whole draft for a guy who can't beat out Case Keenum. We either blow it up, or we're stuck with him. Unless we get a broken Romo I'm big on getting broken Romo or broken Teddy. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Tyrod sucks. Sucks? I dunno. He's average. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Sucks? I dunno. He's average.HE SUCKS AND I HATE HIM Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 HE SUCKS AND I HATE HIM I'll give you this: he's missing throws this season he hit last season. Not just the deep stuff, but his accuracy on the intermediate stuff outside the hashes has been poor. Quote
Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 We either blow it up, or we're stuck with him. Unless we get a broken Romo Good teams can still switch QBs. If you want to pursue an expensive veteran like Romo you're getting out of Tyrod's contract free this offseason. If you're looking through the draft you likely keep Tyrod another year and then, if he doesn't become a QB, let him go after next season and pay the partial guarantee for 2018. One of Bridgewater and Bradford will be available. I imagine Romo will definitely be available, but he's probably too far gone for my tastes. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Getting gashed by the worst offense in the league, one that took three weeks to score a touchdown Quote
Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Sucks? I dunno. He's average. I don't know. So far this season he's well below average. But Nickell Robey-Coleman aint below average. :D Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 So either Jared Goff is going to be a giant bust or Jeff Fisher is awful. Okay, so Fisher is awful regardless. Can't believe Keenum keeps starting. I don't know. So far this season he's well below average. So is Andy Dalton. So was Matt Ryan last year. Meh. He's average. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 I don't know. So far this season he's well below average. But Nickell Robey-Coleman aint below average. :D He's great at what he does. Big play. Do it again! Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 So, about your whining about the defense... :pTHEY SUCK AND I HATE THEM haha, I'm probably miserable to watch football with. Quote

System at Cal far different from LA. They're bringing him along slowly, but I imagine it's his team the second they feel comfortable with his grasp. I'll give you this: average at best with below-average numbers. Quote

Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 THEY SUCK AND I HATE THEM haha, I'm probably miserable to watch football with. Same, because I'm so absolute about QBs and get down easily on plays haha. Quote

And I'll give you this: you don't pick up his option if he plays this way all year. So, Lorenzo Alexander is tied for the league lead in sacks. Not that I expect it to last, but the cheap vet signings Whaley made this year have been great. Quote
Hoss Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 And I'll give you this: you don't pick up his option if he plays this way all year. Agreed. Can we hug now? I might try to get to second base if you don't mind. Quote
Neo Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 I know I will sound like I'm Gilmore bashing ... bit did he just try to avoid a hit and recover a fumble in the same play? He dove DIAGONALLY to he ball! Quote
