That Aud Smell Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 I'm glad she gets the validation of the verdict. I watched her direct exam, and her Mom's. Heart breaking, really. But, yes, there will be an appeal. Sounded like there were some "technical" issues that an appellate court could resolve differently than a jury (corporate agency, etc.). Quote
Eleven Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 It's official; Megatron is shutting down. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 It's official; Megatron is shutting down. That Green Bay game did it to him. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 It's official; Megatron is shutting down. That makes me incredibly sad. One of the five best WRs I ever got to see play. Quote
Hoss Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) Bills re-sign Incognito, per Tyler Dunne. Incognito confirmed it on Twitter and said it's for three years. Edited March 8, 2016 by Hoss Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 I know there's timing/information overlap and reporters don't spend every second trolling twitter, but I always chuckle when something like this happens after the player himself announces the deal: Tim Graham @ByTimGraham 2m2 minutes ago Richie Incognito's deal with Buffalo is for three years, I'm told. Hoss Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 It's like when a team announces something and, instead of just retweeting it, reporters tweet "Bills announce blah blah." Just retweet it. You know whoever follows you follows a million other reporters so we don't need thirty tweets. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Son of a gun. I figured he was off to market. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) 3 years 15 million. Nice deal for both sides. And I would call that a hometown discount Edited March 8, 2016 by BRAWNDO Quote
WildCard Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 @rapsheetThis is a surprise: #Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to hit the free agent market, sources say. Sides are far apart on a potential deal Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Damn, I was really hoping the Jets would be dumb enough to give Fitz oodles of guaranteed money. Separately, I'm fine with the Incognito contract. Any word on the structure? Quote

K-9 Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Son of a gun. I figured he was off to market. Me, too. Yesterday morning I heard he was asking for $7m per over four years. I think his agent made some calls to gauge interest and came back to reality for a 33 year old G. And I thought for sure the Osemele deal with Oakland today was gonna impact his number as well. Guess he really wanted to stay here after all. GO BILLS!!! Quote
That Aud Smell Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Separately, I'm fine with the Incognito contract. Any word on the structure? No word that I read. I'm guessing a heavier than normal amount guaranteed? Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Which is lunacy. LOL - however questionable it seems like a genius decision in comparison to Jay Cutler's WTF??? contract - lol Quote
GoPre Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 "Per team policy, contact details will not be released." Found that on twobillsdrive. Saying yeah right on that one. Word will get out very soon. Quote

inkman Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Don't see it anywhere here but Mario officially signed with da fish. Quote
Eleven Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Don't see it anywhere here but Mario officially signed with da fish. Well. How to go from having the scariest defensive line in football to having a division rival have the scariest defensive line in football in just two seasons, right? Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Well. How to go from having the scariest defensive line in football to having a division rival have the scariest defensive line in football in just two seasons, right? My answer is two words - Rex Ryan. Quote
Hoss Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Well. How to go from having the scariest defensive line in football to having a division rival have the scariest defensive line in football in just two seasons, right? Mario Williams was, and this is now exaggeration, the worst rated edge rusher in all of the NFL last year. 101 out of 101. Quote
