Beer Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Weber says "I will not go quietly into the good night." Des is getting credit on TSN for the goal. Never mind, something is f'd up on TSN Quote
Taro T Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Des is getting credit on TSN for the goal. It definitely was deflected. Couldn't tell if it was Des or a Cat. Guess it was Des. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Goals are fun. 7-4 losses >>>>>> 3-1 losses. Quote
jsb Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Weber with goal....... Foligno a +2 today Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Breastfeeding at the rink isn't inappropriate, its dangerous. Its cold in there, and kids that young shouldn't be near sharp objects. Taking an infant that young to a game is inappropriate, breastfeeding or not. Quote
Thorner Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Is pulling the goalie just stupid? Like without already having a PP? What are they numbers on it actually working? 6-5 is just a clogged ice surface. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Just awful..... And I only saw the first 2 goals and the last 3 Yay disco Dan, yay team Quote
bcsaberks Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 LA has put up 9 on Boston. Sabres not the only team having a tough time keeping the puck out of the back of the net. Sweet. Quote
Huckleberry Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 What a weird game. frustrating game, they at least kept going, so I kept watching. Quote
Tondas Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 They didn't quit Yeah. Cant fault the effort tonight. Quote
Kruppstahl Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Was Weber's goal deflected? Give it to weber! He needs all the help he can get. Quote
Hoss Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Was there for the first two periods. Had to leave because friends' two year old got fussy. Glad I got to provide the little one with his first game even if it was a miserable one. Some thoughts: - Yuck. I think it'd be lunacy to say anybody on this team aside from maybe Reinhart is having a good game. - Really interested to see how Lehner responds to his first bad game as a Sabre. First time he hasn't been great and boy was it bad. I'm looking forward to it so much that I'm almost glad he got roughed up. Whatcha got, Robin? - The number of times I felt like Eichel was helpless out there with nobody with a remote offensive NHL skill set makes me realize this team needs to prioritize getting him wingers ASAP. I thought of Boedker and Eriksson many times during the game. Please. - That Jagr goal was a thing of beauty. Great play between him and Huberdeau. Happened right in front of me. Glad I got to see a Jagr goal. - Kane's intensity was the only thing to draw a response from this crowd. None of the Panthers goals drew much of a response. Evander Kane just put himself at the top of many fans' lists. Certainly seems he's unloading a bit of frustration. - Props to the guy who spoke up when somebody told my friend breastfeeding was inappropriate. If that was any of you then I'll buy you a beer (I expect multiple DMs from you all claiming it was you now :p) Quote
WildCard Posted February 10, 2016 Author Report Posted February 10, 2016 Just awful..... And I only saw the first 2 goals and the last 3 Yay disco Dan, yay team We had McCabe as a forward and are missing out 3rd line center and 1/3 of our top 6. The only thing shocking tonight was that they didn't quit, but instead just got angry and played better Quote

thewookie1 Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) Horrid 1st period, they were beaten by a better team. But I must commend the team for never quitting and pestering the Panthers until the bitter end. McGinn scores there with 2min left and the last 2 minutes would of been insane. Reinhart > Eichel, but only because he's got a year of NHL training on his side. Next year just imagine how good Eichel will be if he improves as much as Reinhart has. Kane :worthy: Edited February 10, 2016 by thewookie1 Quote
