Sabres have called up Dan Catenacci from Rochester, and he will make his NHL debut Saturday in Boston.

Nice. The kid has waited a long time. I hope he plays on the Eichel/Girgs line because he can at least keep up with them.

That said, I expect DD to limit him the the 4th line.

GO SABRES!!!

Amazing how things transpire. I remember his pro debut thinking he was a great looking prospect. Four years later and he never really blossomed.

no shame in it. some guys just don't translate to the NHL game for one reason or another.

Could he be the next Byron or MacArthur? Those guys never looked quite like NHL players but somehow after several years on the farm, both caught on with other teams and have carved out decent careers for the most part. Paille is another one that comes to mind of that ilk.
