SarasotaSabre Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Should a guy with a concussion history be head butting his teammates without his mask on? I hope you saw they were light taps - hardly the stuff of head butts. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Lehner is showing signs of validating GM TM's fondness. Quote
Taro T Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Someone tell me why the ###### Gionta was taking that last faceoff???? Because some rocket scientist thought it would be a good idea to waste a timeout 7 minutes into a game & therefore didn't have 1/2 his top pk pair ready to go so he didn't bother putting Legwand out there either. ... Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Or LACK of thought process as the case may be. But his glasses and soft-spoken demeanor...tres cool. Quote

WildCard Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 In fairness to DD, how has Pitt looked since he was canned? Quote

hockeyhound Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Yay, team. We are the champions my friend, we'll keep on fighting till the end.... Felt like we just won a game 7 in the playoffs. Just glad they won on the road. Quote
beerme1 Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Anyone notice how much of a morgue the Ottawa building sounded like the first half of the third period? Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Sabres beating Sens :: Bills beating Jets ;) Quote
Brawndo Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Lehner legitimately scares me Me too :o Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 ^ TBJ you can post that forever That is my plan. If only the Sabres would back me up more often. Quote

... Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Lehner...Ryan Miller 2.0 in the emo department. Except that Lehner is metal emo, which is less endearing than plain old emo. Quote
hockeyhound Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Lehner legitimately scares me Is Lehner the real deal? Is he a goalie that can get you through the playoffs? Quote
WildCard Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Watching this post game makes me realize how great Kevin Weekes is Quote
Norcal Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Good win, Lehner finally got one though he almost didn't. Bleh, All-Star break hop O'Reilly gets some rest. Quote
Thorner Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Lehner was outstanding tonight, particularly at the end. Nice to see him get his first win. Quote
beerme1 Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 The Sabres have that effect on buildings LOL! Quote
WildCard Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Is Lehner the real deal? Is he a goalie that can get you through the playoffs? His size, like Rinne's, is a huge advantage. If he can become more mobile, then maybe. Ullmark and Johnson were really bad at side to side and getting back to their feet after a scramble in the beginning of the year too. They really turned it around and it became a total nonissue. Hopefully Lehner is just rusty. If not, I have full confidence that Ullmark can Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 In fairness to DD, how has Pitt looked since he was canned? IMO they've continued the path they were already on. The drafting and trading of youth has finally caught up with them. I think they'd look much the same if he was still there. Quote

Hopefully Lehner is just rusty. If not, I have full confidence that Ullmark can Ullmark over Lehner? Considering Ullmark hasn't really been tested as a true #1 do you think he is durable enough to handle a #1's work load? Do you think the Sabres believe Lehner is their guy?
