You suffer alone. Well, may be one other person is listening on the radio.

I've kind of taken to enjoying the radio when Dunleavy is doing the game. But this is terrible.

How is that not a penalty?

 

Plays like that are why there is very little scoring in the NHL today.  I re-watched it and ROR basically gets knocked over from behind. But, in today's game that is fine. You can mug a guy who has the puck, but for Christ's sake don't accidentally flip a puck over the glass!

I get the theory of it. Radio only PBP announcer should paint a much better picture of the play, more detail. It just doesn't seem to be that way.

So have Sabres i think, Kane working hard as fuk, Eichle hitting crossbar, ROR late on his shift and gets a puck like that with no power left..

 

Half the Sabres are working hard; the rest are too tentative, too many drive-by's, too many plays where they immediately back into a defensive posture because they don't believe they'll win the puck.
