hockeyhound Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Not a very exciting first period. However, we aren't behind. Risto is the man. :worthy: Edited January 23, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote
Tondas Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 However, we aren't behind. Good point. I have to take the small victories. ;) Quote
SwampD Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I'm just not seeing the disparity in officiating that others are tonight. The Sabres hook and cross check and interfere just as much with no calls. The call on oreilly was right. Quote
woods-racer Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I like Legwand. Even I'm good looking next to him. Quote
Hoss Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Kim with a PA-like shot against Terrance in the Perry's feature during the intermission. "Terry's a vanilla guy... Of course." TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Quote
Brawndo Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Is Moulson off the top line already, it looks like Gionta took his spot the last couple shifts. And Wild Dan Dunleavy will be fine. Quote
hockeyhound Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Gionta with the Eichel at the line :P Jesus Detroit knows exactly when to interfere, crosscheck, and high-stick without ever having to go in the box. That says it all. I don't understand how they get away with so much crap. Quote

Thorner Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 My favorite thing will be when Eichel gets wingers who do more than just struggle to tread water, and can create with him. So many times I see his head go up to look for something and people are nowhere to be found, not paying attention, getting covered and closed out easily, with no speed or ability to separate. It must be nice for Wings fans to watch Larkin play with Zetterberg all season. He's younger than, playing a harder position than, and playing with much worse linemates than all three of Panarin, Domi, and Larkin. The fact that he is tied for 3rd in scoring and 1 point behind Domi for 2nd is a testament to his ability. Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I like Dunleavy. Am I the only one? Thanks  DAN DUNLEAVY WILL BE FINE. Quote
jsb Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 GCLive gave me a not available ate the beginning of game but I turned it on to see the stats and the game is on....... Wierd but I'm happy again Quote
Brawndo Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Nevermind Moulson is back out there with ROR and Kane Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) "If you have to bump the net to get to Mrazek, do it all night long."Rayzor either accidentally switched the words "net" and "Mrazek", or is advocating a regular strategy of knocking the net off its pegs  Edited January 23, 2016 by Randall Flagg Quote
WildCard Posted January 23, 2016 Author Report Posted January 23, 2016 So, who's man was that left all alone? Quote

sodbuster Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Interference isn't supposed to be this confusing. Quote
SwampD Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Still not seeing it? Did you see Bogo hook and interfere at our end seconds before that happened? They aren't calling it at either end so I don't care. Just win with these rules. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Detroit created that form of defending, they're allowed to do it. Quote
hockeyhound Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 We're flirting with disaster. Quote

Just win with these rules. Those weren't close in magnitude, and the Detroit one was just as bad as the one that was called on COR. Detroit always gets that rule. Any other game and I agree with you. Smith on Legwand, right there. It's literally ingrained in their defensive system. Quote
hockeyhound Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Someone on this forum once said, "Its not interference, its accidentally getting in the way." Edited January 23, 2016 by hockeyhound Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Too bad Larsson scores, like, never. This is some boring hockey. I just dozed off for a bit. Quote
