WildCard Posted January 23, 2016 Author Report Posted January 23, 2016 They're going to embarrass themselves on national TV on Monday.Yes, yes we are Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Easier to watch that tonight's Sabres. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 They're going to embarrass themselves on national TV on Monday. The Rangers kinda suck too though. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Lehner had a good game tonight. What a waste. Playoffs hopes slipping away. I agree with Lehner I don't know about playoffs. Like I said awhile back if they got 20 more goals from 4 players things might be different. You can probably figure out which 4 players I'm talking about. 20 more goals would translate into at least 4 more wins. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 He's playing with ROR and Kane... Jack needs to generate his own s#!t. Jack's a year younger than Dylan, and has spent the season at center versus playing on the wing of an all time great, and had the same point total as Dylan coming into this game. In general, Jack>Larkin. This game, certainly Jack has been awful relative to Dylan, but it's not as if Jack's had ROR all season, it's been half of a period. Quote
WildCard Posted January 23, 2016 Author Report Posted January 23, 2016 Easily the most boring game of the year for us Quote
inkman Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 They're going to embarrass themselves on national TV on Monday. The Amerks just might Quote
Jsixspd Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 So 70 seconds with the goalie pulled, and Buffalo can't manage ONE shot on goal? This team is sad. Better than last year, but that isn't saying much. Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 we just gotta get to the All Star break... gotta make it there. I think Jack will be better then Larkin but you can see the season fatigue with Jack. The all star break will help. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 10 straight periods without an even-strength goal. Quote

These scouts must be blind because it's easy to see this guys ability. He should have been in the top 5-10. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 These scouts must be blind because it's easy to see this guys ability. He should have been in the top 5-10. Murray wanted him, didn't he? Quote
Jsixspd Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 This team has been terrible the last 2 games - 1 goal scored in 120 minutes. A game like tonight against a top tier team like the Red Wings illustrates just how far the Sabres have to go, in order to be a truly competitive team. They looked outclassed and clueless out there - couldn't keep the puck in the Red Wings zone, and couldn't keep it OUT of their own zone. Quote
woods-racer Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Poor Lehner. Poor Sabres fans. Quote
Tondas Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 OK. On to the next one. I thought Gio, Kane, Risto and Lehner played well. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Murray wanted him, didn't he? I think he did. I would have done almost anything to move up to grab him. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Murray wanted him, didn't he? Rumor was that was who Murray was trying to trade all three 2nds to move up and get. Don't think anything concrete on that came out though. Quote

They looked outclassed and clueless out there - couldn't keep the puck in the Red Wings zone, and couldn't keep it OUT of their own zone. For about half of the game, and for periods after that, the Sabres stuffed the Detroit offense. It's an exhausting way to play and by the third they were gassed. Add a double minor and how can that not end in disaster? I look at it this way: This is the Sabres at their worst this year, and it's because they're missing Gus and Samson. This is about as good as they looked last year. Quote
Claude Balls Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Last year I cheered loses....this year I've been getting pissed at loses. Seeing how this team can put the puck in the net for ....I'm hoping for a top three pick. Not hoping for wins anymore. And that is sad. Sooo FRUSTRATING!!!! Quote
SarasotaSabre Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 The shot disparity this period - 15 shots so far for Detroit, and a measly 2 for Buffalo. A Tank By Any Other Name.... I don't think it's a tank ... I think it is a team overmatched and outclassed - clearly. Quote
K-9 Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I need a break from these bums. They all suck. 10 straight periods without an even-strength goal. How the phuck is that even possible? Blind luck itself oughta net at least one in three plus games. Quote
tom webster Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I don't feel like reading through the whole thread but has anyone mentioned that they got in at 5am yesterday? Duff, Ray and May all predicted that they would be gassed this game. This was all about injuries and NHL scheduling Quote
