LGR4GM Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 The weird thing about this loss were the last 5 faceoffs or so. All taken by ROR, all lost, in crunch time. welcome to the board, great observation. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 I know Radar is top notch on the draws, but it seems like every time I feel like it's a big faceoff, he loses it. That's the kind of fancy stat I could embrace: faceoff percentage in crunch time.Especially earlier in the year, when we were letting in all those point shots immediately after a faceoff loss, most of those were him. I think he's just out there so much (leading all forwards in the league in ice time last I checked) that we see a lot of faceoff losses that have significance as well as the plenty (we seem to win every faceoff he takes on the pp, by my eye test and memory) that he wins. Jsixspd Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Well, absolutely ZERO bounce back from this game against the Red Wings. And zero points in either game. Sabres could end up struggling to hit 70 points for the season at this rate. Edited January 23, 2016 by Jsixspd Quote
