The Amerks D is Bergdorfers, Strachan, Austin, Brycen Martin, Geiger, Mac Bennet. I think only Austin and Martin are Sabres property. Strachan is the only one I trust out of that group to play in the NHL. Not sure how the semantics work getting him to play on the Sabres.

 

I really think it's time to throw at late draft pick for a guy on the fringe of the league but not in a teams plans.

Strachan doesn't have an nhl contract though, maybe they'll play a forward as D , don't know.

Pretty sure I recall Murray bragging about being able to get a 4th liner or 3rd pair D in a trade whenever he wanted at one point.

I think this is a great point. Okposo and ROR are both fantastic at creating space. I loved Jack and Sam together last year. But I could get used to Jack with Okposo moving forward.

 

What position is Nylander primarily playing in Rochester? I know he's flexible, but I haven't caught a game yet to check out where he's at.
