GASabresIUFAN Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 I love the idea of putting Ennis, Moulson and Girgensons back together. They had good chemistry when the team stunk and they were all we had. They got the other teams best D every night back then, but as a 3rd line against 2nd or 3rd line D they could really be dangerous. Quote

WildCard Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 Okposo might be out the next two preseason games with a large bruise on his knee after taking a puck to it. Eichel and O'Reilly both expected to play Tuesday Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Isn't this exactly what happened with Bogosian last year? Camp groin injury, doesn't seem so bad, then lingers into over a quarter of the season? If Ristolainen doesn't get signed, and the same thing happens with Bogo, we go into the Habs game next Thursday withKulikov - Franson McCabe - Nelson Gorges - Falk? or something like that.WTF. Ouch. Ya, now you mention it, I am indeed having some déjà vu regarding Bogosian. If we somehow started the season without Risto, I would be so shocked they let it get that far, would probably be watching in somewhat detached disbelief for the first few games. Wouldn't feel like we were giving making the playoffs our best shot. Edited October 4, 2016 by Thorny Quote

We know Bogosian gets hurt a lot, and that others will too, and only swapped out a defenseman for Kulikov, didn't add anyone else. Falk doesn't look any better than Colaiacovo. Quote

Doohicksie Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 So.... is Ennis the longest-serving Sabre? Who else is senior in the organization? Foligno? Quote

shrader Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 So.... is Ennis the longest-serving Sabre? Who else is senior in the organization? Foligno? Longest tenured Sabre and only 26 years old. It's amazing how much this game has changed in the last ten or so years. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Didn't Weber sign a PTO somewhere? Quote

Samson's Flow Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 How are there any people left who think Weber isn't total trash? Even the good Weber (Shea) isn't really all that good anymore, save for winning hardest shot competitions. Must be the name dragging him down. Quote
inkman Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 We watched Justin Falk and Brady Austin? Yeah it can get a lot worse than Mike Weber Quote
