brb, slipping Rob Ray another note with something to say and piss off "WidCard".

Glendale was a +65 in Corsi (96-31) against NJ on Saturday and got shut out 2-0?!?!?! surprised-034.gif

Regardless of the score, I can't recall seeing such a lopsided Corsi number, even from BFLO's tank days.

I usually like Ray too, but damn he really is just pissing me off to tonight. Besides, pictures are the only way Ray can even read, he would need the whole GDT to be in pictures

Schaller doesn't look out of place at all out there.

Schaller has been noticeable.  Takes over Legwand's place next year.

That's what we miss from Pysyk

I still think he's arguably our best Dman.  Risto's great and brings the offense, and can make the big hit, but as a pure defender Pysyk's hard to beat.

That first period was entertaining and frustrating all at the same time.  Looked like the Yotes carried the play early, but the Sabres gained some momentum from the PKs.

Do I need to post the aging curve again for forwards? 32 is absolutely old for a non-elite player.

I listened to GMTM today, and Sirius during the week. "It's a young man's game seems to be a theme. I wonder how that's going to affect contracts.

Meh, you don't remember what it's like to be young and enthusiastic, do you?

Got hit hard in the first Caps game awhile back, UBI returned, likely te same one he has earlier in the year. Small guy with small guy injuries

Thanks, it would be disappointing if he misses the remainder of the season.

I do love me some Pysyk, and really hope he isn't traded away for Drouin

Agree on Pysyk.  He's like a ROR on defense.  Good positioning and work ethic and great stick.

I was thinking someone's told him he needs to up his game. Professional pressure, if you will. "Say things that'll get 'em talking".

I get that there's a drop off, but I can't believe he's just hitting a wall at 32 years old. , Rob Ray made it to 33 before he became useless.

The cap and the looney have a lot to do with that.

I do. The great tragedy of life is to be old and just as enthusiastic. Makes for great home video, but it remains tragic.

Did he though?
