clintwestwood Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 I loved his game tonight too. Was that slash to his previously injured knee? Can't remember which he was favoring but he went down like a rock. Would be shocked if it wasn't his left knee again. Quote
SwampD Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 I loved his game tonight too. Was that slash to his previously injured knee? He had a really good game. He must have the worst shin guards ever. That was a love tap the he should not have even fealt. Quote
Claude Balls Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) Without D-Lo in the lineup this team is extremely spineless. TM better trade for a little more toughness. Â Ya, it wasn't that bad. I think he'll be ok, at least I hope. He stayed on the bench and was walking fine into the locker room at the end. Quote

Claude Balls Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) Where is there no protection? Unless he's altered them to gain some speed. Between the top of the shin/knee guards and the bottom of the pants. If you watch it in slow motion he was in a position where his pants were riding up and there was a small open area right above the knee where he got slashed. That Aud Smell Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 So glad Piss-ick didn't play. Â Good job, good hustle, Hot Daniel. Â I've had some drinks. Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 That third period just sucked. Of course if they'd cashed in on a power play or two in the second, it wouldn't have made the third suck so hard. Quote
Thorner Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 So glad Piss-ick didn't play. Â Good job, good hustle, Hot Daniel. Â I've had some drinks. Â Yes, it looks like Pysyk should have played. Â But I doubt he would have made a difference to the point of them winning today. We just couldn't find the net. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 We cannot score goals in this building. I have been saying for a while that this team lacks "goal scorers". They have plenty of "play makers" and guys who can score goals, but are there really any players on this team that you would see on the ice and think "A goal is coming...", or in a situation where you need a goal late in the game you think "Man, this is where we need 'X' out there to get us one"? Theres no "Snipers" Â Its crazy how many times I see the other team getting a goal off of a deflection, or a screen, yet when Buffalo is the one taking the shot, its always blocked by the person thats screening, or its wide of the net, or doesn't make it through. They just never seem to get those lucky breaks/bounces Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 These games get more and more boring every time I go. Who needs Detroit tickets Club 219 (4 of them below face)?! Â Yeah. That was a hella-boring game decided by a seeing eye point shot. Quote

Jsixspd Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) What a sad effort at home, against hated Boston. Â Lehner had a less than impressive debut - 3.00 GAA, and .900 SVG%. Â Â Average stuff from Lehner. Â Â Â Â Amazing how the game seemed to fall apart after Zemgus was sidelined. Â And... Rex Ryan and Rob Ryan were both in attendance - double-jinx against the Sabres. Â Edited January 16, 2016 by Jsixspd Quote
Brawndo Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 Any word on Kane? Nothing in the post game Presser   From Kevin O Recalls choices based on merit: Cal O'Reilly: definitely won't hurt them. Justin Bailey: a gauge-his-development evaluation for both sides. Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) Well that sucked, Bruins were up to their old cheap stuff but Sabres couldnt find the net if you spotted them n and the t, man do they need and winger who can score, Lehner let in 2 softies, for a big man he looks as slow as weber. Edited January 16, 2016 by North Buffalo Quote
WanderingEye Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 Bad third goal on Lehner but he didn't get any help out there (a common theme with the other Swedish goalie we just sent down too). It's unfortunate he chopped his hair off as he looks slightly less like an Amon Amarth band member now. Quote
pastajoe Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 Sabres lose 4-1, Rochester loses 4-0, Elmira loses 4-0. It's an organizational scoring drought! Quote

dudacek Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 New goalie didn't matter. That game was a replay of 35 Sabre games this year. Quote
beerme1 Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 Thanks Modo, I'm just glad people enjoy them!    Dude, this one was a fantastic GDT.  Thank you Quote
beerme1 Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 I am having Hooters wings. It's the best I can do. I miss Buffalo dearly on nights like this .... Bruins, Sabres ....  Oh my! I feel bad for you but then I don't at the same time.  Quote
