LGR4GM Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Nice job with your three stars, Winnipeg. :blink:What were they? Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 nice play by kane, good team mate :D Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 What were they? Ullmark #1 Drew Stafford #2 Samson Reinhart #3 Winnipeg press is a joke. Quote
Weave Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Maybe every home game should be track suit night. it seemed to work in Winnie....... Edited January 10, 2016 by We've Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) What were they? Samson Stafford Linus according to nhl.com :p Edited January 10, 2016 by Huckleberry Quote
thewookie1 Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Kane's unselfish assist is a bigger FU to Winnipeg than even a goal. Girgs looked back to being ok again, Eichel looked alright as well. Reinhart woohoo! Quote
Weave Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Kane's unselfish assist is a bigger FU to Winnipeg than even a goal. Girgs looked back to being ok again, Eichel looked alright as well. Reinhart woohoo! Eichel played alright. But I am growing weary of seeing him take swipes at pucks, especially along the boards, instead of getting his body involved and boxing out the opposing player. He's got size. He won't realize his potential until he starts playing in close to his opponents. Quote
Kelly the Dog Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 That was such a great decision and play by Kane. Love it. Players are going to love him for it, too. From a guy who despises passing, too. That was too cool. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 I never heard that story about Gionta being pissed that Kane played the day he missed practice. Quote
Rasmus_ Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 MOULSON YOU ###### Hello, Mr. Stafford clone. Quote
Weave Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 I never heard that story about Gionta being pissed that Kane played the day he missed practice. What's this? I need to hear more..... Quote
3putt Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Eichel played alright. But I am growing weary of seeing him take swipes at pucks, especially along the boards, instead of getting his body involved and boxing out the opposing player. He's got size. He won't realize his potential until he starts playing in close to his opponents. That will never be his game...sorry to disappoint Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 So the refs get to initiate a challenge under a certain time-left in the game? Even if the team who would challenge has used its timeout? So is every goddamn goal scored at the end of a game review-able no matter what? That's gonna make for some pretty awful situations come playoffs. Quote
inkman Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Hello, Mr. Stafford clone. I think Drew is vastly more talented Quote
Trettioåtta Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Damn poetic ending. Kane, the bad teammate, has a chance to score and silence the crowd, instead elects to pass it through Myers and Stafford to his young teammate so he can score a hatrick Quote
Rasmus_ Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 I think Drew is vastly more talented Well yes I agree, but over his last season and a half he was already out the door. Quote
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Big Daddy Kane with the sweet unselfish pass to Rhino for the hate......   We have to be the only team in the league that that head shot on Rhino doesn't get called Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Nice game, Kane's earns respect. Fun tough game to watch... Sabres still need a scoring winger. Quote
Weave Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 That will never be his game...sorry to disappoint ??? I'm talking about getting in close to retrieve loose pucks, not checking and big hits. Hell, little Gionta does that. Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Missed head shot something reviewable by the league? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 ??? I'm talking about getting in close to retrieve loose pucks, not checking and big hits. Hell, little Gionta does that. If Eichel and Gio switched sticks, watch out NHL. Quote
deluca67 Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Watching Reinhart play this season has been a real pleasure. I wasn't sure about him when the Sabres drafted him. I was hoping for Sam Bennett. Very glad at this point how things turned out. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) So Toronto calls from their room of giant televisions to Winnipeg to tell the refs to review a goal on an 11 inch screen. Edited January 10, 2016 by Randall Flagg Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Missed head shot something reviewable by the league? Missed it as well, would love to see that one. Quote
