Depends how much you think of Seth I guess.. I think the price was cheap for who they got back

I think potato could answer this best. I'll look up some stats on him when I'm not on mobile

That's not the whole story and you know it

I added TOI which says a lot.  He is only getting 19m...  That doesn't scream #1 pairing being that low

There it is, Jones for Johansen. I think both teams really win in this, and pretty much everyone but Jones does. Johansen will produce with a fresh change of scenery, but it's all about how he fits in long term

Sure Jones goes to a garbage team, but I still think he wins because he was never going to get a huge payday in Nashville being buried behind Weber. He can emerge as a true #1 now. Sort of like how Seguin emerged in Dallas after escaping the Bergeron and Krejci depth chart.

He's behind Josi and Weber. Risto would be getting the same minutes

Jones is also currently in the top 10 among all defensemen in the LEAGUE for Corsi Against/60 with 44.09% (10+ games played)

I said it earlier, but I think Nashville sold low on Jones long term. They needed a solid center badly, but they gave up a fantastic defenseman.

Eh, not everyone can get a 1st line center from Colorado ;)
