Doohicksie Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 They're showing the MODO guys during he intermission! :D Whats up? ;) 32 miles on the bicycle and a few too many "ginger ales" last night. Quote
jsb Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Man I have to give you guys major props, how you watch the game and comment here is nothing short of amazing to me, tried but can't do it myself. Quote
wjag Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 I'm playing against Crawford, Pananrin and Toews, so I am very pleased after one Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 I can't drink just yet. This is my first hockey game of the day... going to the Preds game this evening. My beer of choice at Preds games = Fat Tire. Quote
Stoner Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Man these guys are so much better than us. If we're the next Chicago, I dunno man. Our talent level is just not there, and I don't think it's just a matter of time and maturation. We need mo' better players. The secondary ticket market is alive and well for Chicago games. Looks like half the lower bowl is filled with red sweaters. There's a special place in hockey hell for 1. The guy in a Hawks jersey with a Sabres knit cap 2. Anyone who started rooting for the Hawks after they got good and 3. People who sell their tickets to these douchebags. Quote
WildCard Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Posted December 19, 2015 Are those two guys SabreSpacers? Edit: ah, yes! Who? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Chicago has a 25-minute per game top defensive pairing that has played together for a decade. That is a major difference between the two teams. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Are those two guys SabreSpacers? Edit: ah, yes! Not SabreSpacers, but MODO knows one of them. Quote
Stoner Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 The difference is simply a mature system versus a team still learning their system. They're not better than us talent-for-talent as they are just playing the game without having to actively think it. Pure denial. Quote
MODO Hockey Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 They're showing the MODO guys during he intermission! :D 32 miles on the bicycle and a few too many "ginger ales" last night. Darn, we r watching Chicagos broadcast of the game :( Oh my, then i understand. Well then, next game! ;) Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 No penalties, not a lot of whistles, but overall a pretty boring game between these teams.... Which I suspect is planned By DD against these guys. Man eichel-Kane, they just don't have the IT factor at all Gionta still lacks any ability to possess the puck for more than 1.3 Seconds I hope eichel can one day stick handle like the cabbie beater Quote
WildCard Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Posted December 19, 2015 See that Eichel? What Kane just did? Wait at the line and find someone coming in with speed and pass them the puck Panarin even looks like Kane Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 If we're the next Chicago, I dunno man. Our talent level is just not there, and I don't think it's just a matter of time and maturation. We need mo' better players. . We're overskating pucks on our own sticks and can't complete basic passes while they're the Harlem Globetrotters. Quote
wjag Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 See that Eichel? What Kane just did? Wait at the line and find someone coming in with speed and pass them the puck Panarin even looks like Kane I have a hard time separating them in my mind... Quote

Our talent level is just not there, and I don't think it's just a matter of time and maturation. We need mo' better players. I'm sure we'll pick up some more pieces. We're still in the acquisition mode, they're comfortably in maintenance mode. Quote
wjag Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Johnson giving up some big rebounds. Quote
3putt Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 The Hawks get a lot of ref love too. They clutch and grab with the best of them Quote
WildCard Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Posted December 19, 2015 Someone pointed it out a few games ago, but damn do we love to shoot the puck high. Leaves no opportunity for rebounds, even if they somehow hit the net Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Great shifts from lines 3 and 1. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Pure denial. What you see as talent, I see as active sticks. That's really the difference so far. Great Shift!! Actually, two shifts. Quote
