...
Must have been a players-only meeting between periods.
bob_sauve28
I can't recall a game where we have twice made full changes while on a prolonged forecheck. Wow

Eleven
Kane's shots seem weak or something today. I can't recall a game where we have twice made full changes while on a prolonged forecheck. Wow It's been a long time.
Doohicksie
That whole containment in the Hawks zone that led to the Sabres powerplay was started by a sick interception in the Buffalo zone by Ennis. He picked the puck out of the air like his stick was a baseball glove, then he started the rush. The rust is falling from Tyler quickly. I think he's thriving on the speed of his linemates. MODO Hockey
I like the second period Sabres better Indeed, very nice shifts, good pressure and speed, love it! Yea nice puckhandling there, agree on that rust.

Doohicksie
Note to Eichel: You're not going to curl & drag by the Blackhawks.
Sabres Fan in NS
----- Why is Gionta on the PP?
Eleven
Too many muffy and Daves at this matinee... make some noise! Muffy is cheating on Chet? I can hear the crowd today.
WildCard
Note to Eichel: You're not going to curl & drag by the Blackhawks. Yeah that was a terrible idea, especially on the pp with men open for a pass
Eleven
----- Why is Gionta on the PP? Because Bylsma makes some questionable decisions.
Doohicksie
Way to keep the Hawks to the periphery. Why is Gionta on the PP? To give someone for Eichel to not pass to.

Doohicksie
Yeah that was a terrible idea, especially on the pp with men open for a pass Precisely. He did a good job of entering the zone, then it was time to set up the PP.
