russ Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 I find myself shaking my head in disgust EVERY time Gionta touches the puck. Is that actually justified? Or am I being too critical? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Woohoo, PP to start the second. Quote
Neo Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Interesting ... Brad Richards 1 goal, 48 shots Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 I find myself shaking my head in disgust EVERY time Gionta touches the puck. Is that actually justified? Or am I being too critical? He's been fine today imo Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Gionta made himself useful by taking a stick to the neck. Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Detroit announcers: "Gionta just got high-sticked, although that's an oxymoron, sort of like jumbo shrimp" HA! Quote
WildCard Posted December 15, 2015 Author Report Posted December 15, 2015 I find myself shaking my head in disgust EVERY time Gionta touches the puck. Is that actually justified? Or am I being too critical? He just drew a penalty and looks good That draw was the most exciting part of the period Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Interesting ... Brad Richards 1 goal, 48 shots Last time in Detroit, I swear Brad didn't step on the ice until his shootout winner. He was a total non-factor, surprising how fast he's declined Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Gionta's worthless.... He couldn't even get some blood out of hid body for an extra 2 minutes.... Quote

Norcal Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Detroit runs interference more than any other team Quote
Ogre Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Gionta's worthless.... He couldn't even get some blood out of hid body for an extra 2 minutes.... Pull a Hulk Hogan and carry a blade, man! This isn't your first rodeo. Quote
russ Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 He just drew a penalty and looks good That draw was the most exciting part of the period So maybe I'm being too critical. It just seems he doesn't possess the puck. As soon as he gets the puck it's gone, which is good if it's quick passes, but it's a dump in or a long sog or some other low % play. Quote
Neo Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Last time in Detroit, I swear Brad didn't step on the ice until his shootout winner. He was a total non-factor, surprising how fast he's declined I remember thinking "oh, yeah, he went to Detroit" as he stepped to center ice for the shootout. Didn't notice him all game. Quote
