Radar Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 How many goals our hall of fame players scored were no goals in todays game? Quote
Weave Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Hey guys.....it should still be on your dvr. Gionta didn't blow it, Eichel did. Kane and Gionta were ahead of Eichel and waited on him. Eichel was going north, then 2 feet from the bluelinr decides to cut left and go to his backhand. Eichel cost us the goal. You like the abuse. Admit it. Quote

North Buffalo Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Professional sports has gone down the drain with all this carp. Between challenges and timeouts after almost every play in football it's driving me to not even watch games. Cant go to an FB game anymore. To expensive to wait half an hour on TV timeouts, makes the game unwatchable in person, not much better on TV, it will really suck if hockey goes that root. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Yet everyone managed to stay onside but Gionta He's the furthest removed from youth hockey? Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Skate on the ice is the rule. It was the right call, period. Blame the challenge, not the rule. These players have been playing with that rule since youth hockey. challenge rule sucks. The rule and challenge are both stupid. I know what the rule is. Quote
darksabre Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Whoever thought the coach's challenge was good for hockey can go die of ass cancer. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 The rule needs to be changed to extend the blueline into the air. The challenge needs to be changed so that offsides isn't reviewable. joke. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Hey guys.....it should still be on your dvr. Gionta didn't blow it, Eichel did. Kane and Gionta were ahead of Eichel and waited on him. Eichel was going north, then 2 feet from the bluelinr decides to cut left and go to his backhand. Eichel cost us the goal. Just watched it again. This is a pretty huge stretch. Quote

Mustache of God Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Hey guys.....it should still be on your dvr. Gionta didn't blow it, Eichel did. Kane and Gionta were ahead of Eichel and waited on him. Eichel was going north, then 2 feet from the bluelinr decides to cut left and go to his backhand. Eichel cost us the goal. I disagree. The offsides is solely Giontas fault. The other 3 sabres had no problem staying on side, Gionta needs to drag that skate...he just knows he's too slow for Jack and was cheating at the line to keep up. Quote
Weave Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 The rule and challenge are both ###### stupid. I know what the ###### ###### rule is. then why call it onsides? It clearly wasn't. Call the rule bad if you want. Until it changes, it's offsides. Quote
North Buffalo Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 I am ok with making offside not challengeable. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 GoDD with his giant ladle, stirring the pot, drooling his IPA, or Porter into his pot full of cream of wheat.... I can picture it now..... For some reason in a diaper Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 If an offsides is so close it can't be seen on ice level at game speed, it's not going to defeat the purpose of the rule as it was intended. I'll say this every single time whether it applies to the Sabres or their opponent. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 You like the abuse. Admit it. The rule blows. Refs are killing the NFL and NHL. I just see 7 posters piling on Gionta. Very pretty play. I point it out now because you can still watch it. They waited on Eichel and McCabe was trailing so he was fine. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Get rid of offsides, it would solve this challenge stuff and increase the scoring at the same time. Quote

Until it changes, it's offsides.Skate on ice has always been rule, always played that way. Gionta blew it, but the ability to challenge it is stupid imo. Quote

I'm just pointing out the obvious, you enjoy the result of these. :D Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 I hope McGinn and McCabe can connect in game like they did on that that tunnel high five. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 And make it more subject to interpretation?? No thanks... screw that. It isn't freaking subjective anymore. We have a highspeed camera that we can use to verify every play... like we just say. If offsides can be challenged then the blue line needs to extend into the air. They already do that on clears anyways so I completely disagree with this and flat out think you are wrong. Quote

LGR4GM Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 This f####### ###t has ruined this game for me. I am not even watching the rest of it. Goodnight. F off NHL you asshats. Quote

And every night on the NHL network you see 10 + highlights where a player drags his skate to stay onside. Everyone knows how it works except Gionta and you. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 I hope this doesn't turn into one of those disappointing losses in a game they should have won. There have been too many of those this year and it has to take its toll on them. Quote
