We lost. We didn't play good enough or our game and we lost. They need to re-group and start working on getting 60minutes of solid hockey. Glad to see them battle but there is no reason for them to lose tonight. We still need a defender. That is clear to me now. Ristolainen however is the real genuine article and is currently the best defender from that loaded 2013 draft.

Our Sam I think played a better game than their Sam.

I sincerely hope Eichel firing the puck into the glass was what he was coached to do, because otherwise there was zero reason to do that--had a step on the chaser and nobody immediately in front of him.

Samson and Risto and O'Reilly were our best players tonight. Jack played better, but I'm not sure what he was doing that play where Kane had the puck behind the net, and he just stood there, about 2 feet away, with no way to receive a pass. Bogosian played the worst I've ever seen him. Moulson was very meh. Chad was bad. Can't expect a backup to stay at .954.

Well I called it. Calgary has been playing better of late and I knew we weren't going to beat those guys. They can't beat any of the top teams in the West. The speed is a diffence in these games. Plus we really need Pysyk back and back quickly.

I'm not a fan for trading for another goalie. We need another top pick to help solidify the offense. As much as I like Reinhart and Eichel even when they have been in the league awhile probably won't near the level of Toews and Kane. We need more if we are gonna compete for Lord Stanley.

His month of November was the best month a Sabres goalie ever had statistically, it was mentioned here, and I'm pretty sure the number was .954. That's the number I was referring to, not his season total.

I believe he was .954 for the month of November. Apparently, it was one of the best months for a Sabre goalie in their history.

I'm still not a fan of that Lerhner deal at all. I know he hasn't been with us that long plus he just came back from injury. It will be interesting to see what plays out between him and Ullmark in the future.
