Stoner Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 I've missed the sting on your cheeks after a loss. I am sick of losing. This was a great game, but the Sabres did a fantastic impression of their crosstown brethren. Learning how to lose. Quote
Weave Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 That game was awesome. I am baffled Moulson got a SO chance over Kane. Baffled. If memory serves, Kanes record in SO's is not very good. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Best Sabres game in ... how long? Pre-Pegula? Clinton in OSP's suite against Dallas with no local TV?I had an absolute blast. Quote
SwampD Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 That was fckin awesome. Winning would have been even better, but I can't remember the last time I was that involved in a Sabres game. ... and the officiating had absolutely nothing to do with that loss. We just came up short. Quote

We just came up short. Oh no doubt. They didn't call much but it was consistent both ways. In general I'd prefer a few more calls especially in the scoring areas but the calls did not dictate the outcome at all. We came up short in the carnival game Quote
Stads Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) I'm so ready for Gionta to be off the top 6 and Eichels line. He ruins every play by just giving away the puck instantly I think Gionta must have a clause in his contract where he gets paid more to play on the bottom 6 or sits during key situations. I have no other explanation as to why he gets so many important minutes. Edited December 2, 2015 by Stads Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Did anyone else even hear Brad Richards' name until the shootout? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 ... and the officiating had absolutely nothing to do with that loss. We just came up short. When they started making calls it allowed us to get back into it. We scored back-to-back power play goals to tie it up. Detroit scored on their one power play to tie it up in the third. My complaint was if they put the whistles away and don't call anything (either way), teams have a much harder time erasing deficits. I don't think they were biased in either direction. We got away with a lot, honestly. I just don't like it when the call absolutely nothing is all. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Have to get a 5 game winning streak to get back in this wild card thing Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Remember Brad Boyes was a shootout all star :death: I miss Ales Kotalik. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Can I just reiterate how much I hate Gionta unless he's in the press box or 3rd line Quote

They were blatent. The ones everyone was crying about are just not how the game is being called this year. And again, if it's consistant for both sides,… I like it. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Was that Bogosian's first goal as a Sabre? Quote
Norcal Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Helm is a dangerous player, his speed wreaks havoc Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Helm is a dangerous player, his speed wreaks havoc That sounds familiar.... like I've heard it before.... We have dangerous players too. And frankly, Helm has lost a step or two since he broke into the league. Quote
bcsaberks Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 This team is good. If they miss playoffs by a few points it's on Bylsma and his dumb preference for veterans I mean Gionta. Crazy to play him in OT especially after penalty. Larsson among others must be shaking his head. Fun game to watch none the less. Quote
SarasotaSabre Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 I did not see the game but judging by all the anti-Gio chatter, it sounds like another less than Stellar Dental performance by him; how long is his leash? Not only is not contributing, it seems like he is now hurting the team. Quote

As far as the Sabres go, yeah the speed, youth, talent...a guy could get used to this Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 I've been watching the Wings for a while (we used to live there). He's definitely made a living off his speed. Quote
WildCard Posted December 2, 2015 Author Report Posted December 2, 2015 We probably win this game with Johnson in net Quote
Hoss Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 One of Risto's assists taken away after the game Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 One of Risto's assists taken away after the game Boooooooooooooooo. Given to McGinn right? On the one Kane goal, thought Jamie got his stick on the puck as well as Gionta Calling it now, 4 game win streak coming up. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 We probably win this game with Johnson in net I doubt it. Without Minion Power one or two more goals go in. Quote
