I can't believe that whoever was hanging off of Jack and Sam on that play where Sam got the shot off after the faceoff didn't get a penalty, and I can't believe Gorges got away with some of the interference he likes to do. He appears to have found the thin line.

Does the league smell blood on Ennis? Looks to be targeted for contact here. He just doesn't look solid on his skates.

Ott tips the puck past Franson and has a clear 2 stride lead at the center line on him, but when Ott shoots he is only 1 stride ahead of Franson .

 

If Franson looks like he skates in molassas, Ott skates slower than molasses.

Fans, we have had a really good 1st period, everyone is fighting HARD on every puck, and Sabres were

in front in this period. SL is going to come out strong in 2nd, lets hope our D together with Ullmark can

decrease their confidence and give us some rush goals.
