WildCard Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 It's deja vu for the Buffalo Sabres as they will again play the St.Louis Blues Monday night in downtown Buffalo, although this time the Sabres will look to finish their domination. We've seen it all too many times this season, the Sabres control the entire game, but either can't finish or are stonewalled by the ghost of Hasek; that or somewhere up there in the rafters sits Leino with a laser pointer. Either way, after a 3-0 loss in Dallas on Saturday night in which they were shutout for the first time this season, and losing 4 straight, the Sabres are happy to come back home and host a struggling Blues team. Buffalo (0-2-2) in their last 4, has scored 4 goals in total during those games. The Blues may be the perfect recipe for a quick turnaround however. In the middle of playing 9 games in 16 days, the Blues (2-3-1) in their last 6, are coming off a lackluster 4-3 OT loss vs Detroit. On this stretch of games and the impact it has on his players, Grimace had this to say: "The unfortunate part of what we need to practice would just rip the guts out of the team from a physical standpoint," coach Ken Hitchcock said after the 4-3 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. "... We really need to amp up our competitive level at practice and that's probably what we've got to do, but at what risk? … We need some practices badly, but there's a balance that you have to decide which way you're going to go." The Blues will likely trot out Allen again, who single-handedly won the game for them in St.Louis. After Johnson's 'meh' start and the usual goalie rotation, look for Ullmark hopefully. Pysyk and Girgensons will be evaluated and their status will be decided at the morning skate. Eichel has gone 5 games without a goal, the longest in his young career. ... Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Goony goo goo. We'll have to watch the Twatter feeds for the lines as WGR will be in nothing-else-matters-but-football mode tomorrow. Which is ridiculous since Scwattle and BullDyke routinely complain how they hate watching football. Why are they on the radio? Quote

inkman Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Some wonderful Eddie Murphy recall in this thread. I want half eddie. Quote
Huckleberry Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Probably won't happen, but I would Switch Foligno and Moulson. Hope that Moulson - Larsson - Ennis find the chemistry for late last season again. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Go Sabres! I'll be watching. Go Bills, too, but I don't care near half as much Quote
CallawaySabres Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I have a bad feeling Buffalo is gonna kicked hard in the nuts twice tonight Quote

CallawaySabres Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Is that one team's nuts getting kicked twice or two teams once? Ha, good question. And now that I think about it, I think the sound is the nuts of the Bills getting kicked twice... and hard Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 ...somewhere up there in the rafters sits Leino with a laser pointer. Great stuff. Check out the look of disdain on Corn Holio's face upon witnessing physical play.... Quote
Brawndo Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Watching the Sabres on the big screen, Bills on the iPad tonight Quote
jsb Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Should be 2 periods completed before the Bills game starts. That should be enough time to decide which game to continue watching. After the Dallas game, I'm hoping for a better outcome. It will be nice to be done with the Stars and Blues for the season after today though. GO Sabres. Quote
bcsaberks Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Please just score some goals. Quote
