Doohicksie Posted November 21, 2015 Author Report Posted November 21, 2015 It's worth noting that Lehtonen had the job undisputed then hit a rough patch. Now splitting duties he's back to his old form. Quote
GrassValleyGreg Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Thanks for the GDT guys. One observation from the last few games: Sammy Reinhart's shot. Not sure if it's been discussed but goalies seem to have trouble reading the puck off his stick. A much heavier shot than I noticed in Junior (limited scouting). As I'm sure with all here, I'm very excited to watch this line continue to grow tonight. They were the best trio on the ice after the first period last game and only stand to get better. Go Sabs! skaught Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Number one, played against Buffalo on Tuesday I thought Buffalo played against Nieme on Tuesday :P Quote
WildCard Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 If you playing two goalies you really don't have one goalie I agree with this. It's not like the Stars or Jets want to be in that position, they're doing it because they don't trust one guy completely over the other. Price, Lundqvist, Crawford, Quick....no two goalie systems there, because they actually have a goalie Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 22, 2015 Author Report Posted November 22, 2015 On my way to the AAC... Quote
woods-racer Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 On my way to the AAC... Via bicycle? Cause if you are, does Texas really need to make a law about texting and pedaling? Have fun and hope to see you on TV! Quote
DR HOLLIDAY Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 If you playing two goalies you really don't have one goalie Donnie Edwards and Bob Sauve............ Quote
Neo Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 On my way to the AAC... Chicken Hat Cam! I think it's awesome - if I remember, correctly, your first game in 35 years. Quote
Sabresince70 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Donnie Edwards and Bob Sauve............ Absolutely! Still have an Edwards stick from when he played at Hershey! Quote
Hoss Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) This would be a cool pregame topic to have before each game... Who is the best player to play for both teams? Players that immediately come to mind: Stu Barnes, Matthew Barnaby, Phillippe Boucher, Pierre Turgeon, Steve Ott, Derek Roy (I would say a requirement is that the player had success with both teams) Edited November 22, 2015 by Hoss Quote
DR HOLLIDAY Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Absolutely! Still have an Edwards stick from when he played at Hershey! Nice, Edwards was my first favourite goalie of the Sabres. Quote

Brawndo Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 How much plastic surgery did Mrs Simmons have? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Awesome first shift. Wish Matt coulda lifted that. Quote
Hoss Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Nice whiff on an open net, Moulson. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 who is calling he game? Dan Dunleavy Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Nice whiff on an open net, Moulson. It was Ennis' fault. (Hey, if we're gonna be accused of making Ennis a whipping boy when he deserves criticism, may as well roll with it) Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Are we allowed to yell at Tyler for that play? :P Quote
... Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Nice pace and pressure. However, I feel Dunleavy's calling is getting in the way of the game. He's slowing down the Sabres. Trade him. Quote
