JJFIVEOH Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 San Jose didn't do anything special, two points was easily there for the taking. Quote
Stoner Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 And so it ends. No hoop for us. Quote
thewookie1 Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 I'm utterly disappointed but at least we got a point. Every point counts in the long run after all. Quote

I agree with you, every point counts, eventhough a loss is shait to take. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Of the next seven games, two against Dallas, two against Nashville, two against St. Louis. I'll be happy to come away with 6 points. Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 I got tickets for Tuesday, looking forward to seeing our guys playing a full 60 minutes. We didn't deserve 2 points tonight, I'll take 1.....is this the deluca. 500? I love 3 on 3 but boy was that terrible. Larsson and girgs had almost no place out there at the end Quote
bunomatic Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) That ROR shot was wicked good. Nice goal when we needed one. Tough loss but we got the point. Edited November 15, 2015 by bunomatic Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 I don't blame him -the Sabres let the puck take up residency in their own zone in OT. I'm thinking Ullmark would have stopped one of those two goals though, in this game. He's a better goalie. Well, at least the bizarre and unaccustomed situation of both the Bills and the Sabres being .500 or better didn't last too long. ;) The Sabres are still a .500 team with a point in this game. Quote
spndnchz Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Was better losing 2-1 than 1-0. On to the the next one... Quote
WildCard Posted November 15, 2015 Author Report Posted November 15, 2015 Disappointing loss. It's a team we should have beat but we didn't play our best. The next stretch/month of games only gets much harder. Quote
Jsixspd Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) The Sabres are still a .500 team with a point in this game. Yes, that's true - it's not technically a loss - W/L counts are still even. Thanks! Now I don't feel so badly. :) Edited November 15, 2015 by Jsixspd Quote
nucci Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Sabres looked terrible in that OT period - puck spent way too much time in the Buffalo zone. Guess Detroit and Sabres wanted to hand a win to San Jose by playing their backup goalies last night and tonight. aren't both Sabre goalies backups? Quote

carpandean Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 A point was enough to move the 2015-16 Sabres ahead of the 2005-06 Sabres through 17 GP. Quote

Stoner Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 On that last second rush to end regulation by Jack, if Eichel wasn't Perreault, and the crowd's reaction wasn't the Aud anticipating Perreault, I'll be a bum's nutsack. Also: heart-warming to see that Brent Burns has fully recovered from that nasty cannon ball injury he suffered at Shiloh. Quote

I also googled words to describe the beard. "stringy, sparse, ephemeral, ethereal ...." I couldn't nail it. Shiloh's awesome. Quote
X. Benedict Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Notes: Zemgus was lost in OT. Concussion? Two well coached teams. Needed more from Sabres bottom 6. Delauries played a nice game, but the bottom 6 left sharks too comfy. Colliacovo is really playing well. EICHEL was getting a ton of attention from San Jose, first team to really game plan him to try to freeze him on the walls. I think Ennis might need a few days off. He was a human pinball last night.
