Huckleberry Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 in dutch no one really says Jawel :P We all say jaaaaaaaa :P Then again if you only been to holland a bit more south in flanders its JAAAAAA Quote
darksabre Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 The first period was rough but they got gradually better as the game went along. San Jose is no team to sneeze at either. Quote
Neo Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 I'd agree, but that hit was far from clean. Wingles saw he was vulnerable and dropped his forearm right into his head. Utter cheapshot. I rewound - he could've done more to avoid a vulnerable Girgs ... Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 The beers that came before this one may be affecting my focus  Sounds like a respectable Saturday evening. Quote
russ Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 At what point is he irrelevant? How bout that one? Quote
darksabre Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Franson comes back from the dead and makes a great play to save the game. Balls. Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 That was a mess in our zone. Bleh. Quote
Hoss Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Only the second home loss to the Sharks in team history. Marleau and Thornton were on the team for this one and the 2005 edition. Quote
Jsixspd Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Sabres looked terrible in that OT period - puck spent way too much time in the Buffalo zone. Guess Detroit and Sabres wanted to hand a win to San Jose by playing their backup goalies last night and tonight. Quote
Sabel79 Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Welp. Take a point off San Jose. Move on to the next game. Speaking of which, off to hate-watch Edmonton. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Risto, Larsson and Zemgus were stuck out there too long. Quote
WildCard Posted November 15, 2015 Author Report Posted November 15, 2015 Out there too long for one shift. Just ice it and call a timeout Quote
sodbuster Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Considering how they played tonight, I'll take the point. Quote
Jsixspd Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Can't blame Johnson for this one. I don't blame him -the Sabres let the puck take up residency in their own zone in OT. I'm thinking Ullmark would have stopped one of those two goals though, in this game. He's a better goalie. Well, at least the bizarre and unaccustomed situation of both the Bills and the Sabres being .500 or better didn't last too long. ;) Edited November 15, 2015 by Jsixspd Quote
Tondas Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Considering how they played tonight, I'll take the point. Yeah, not their best game, at least got 1. Quote
