Hoss Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Sabres tweet: Coach Bylsma says that Weber had surgery and recovery time is between 2-6 weeks. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Boy, how low has Weber's perceived value fallen? Just look at the mention he gets in this article. Zack Bogosian's mustache gets three times more ink than Weber's major knee surgery! http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/11/15/sabres-notebook-is-marleaus-time-with-sharks-near-end/ Quote
inkman Posted November 15, 2015 Report Posted November 15, 2015 Boy, how low has Weber's perceived value fallen? All but 3 posters hate the dude. I can't imagine how his perception could be lower. Quote

Doohicksie Posted November 16, 2015 Report Posted November 16, 2015 All but 3 posters hate the dude. I can't imagine how his perception could be lower. I like him. He is barely on the team at this point. But given that, he does a creditable job when he plays. He doesn't dominate, but he eats enough minutes to spell the top two pairs. He's a C student; soon all the defensemen on the team will be A, B+ at the worst and there will be no room for a C student. I will also say that I have soft spot for the guy. He and Kaleta are career Sabres and have been here through the worst of the tank and won't be here for the glory days. In my romantic version of the Sabres story, I want him to stay on as long as possible to at least get a taste of what playing on a good, soon to be great, team is like. Quote
X. Benedict Posted November 16, 2015 Report Posted November 16, 2015 All but 3 posters hate the dude. I can't imagine how his perception could be lower. This is not true. My love of Mike is greater than 100 warm summer nights by the side of Nathan Paetsch. It is greater than the Buffalo News Nolan Pratt portrait over my tool bench . Far more treasured than the Rory Fitzpatrick signed golf iron towel tied to my golf bag. Mesaroz and Benoit are a distant memory. Alexander Sulzer - never had the same sizzle. We like Mike, and want him healthy and back the press box as soon as possible. :) Seriously, he's a good 7. Quote
