darksabre Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Boy, regardless of whether or not O'Reilly is scoring, he just completely takes over when he's on the ice. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Instant chemistry between Eichel and Reinhart. Yes they always look good together. Quote

The Dominator Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Boy, regardless of whether or not O'Reilly is scoring, he just completely takes over when he's on the ice. Â On the day Zadorov was sent down to the AHL, it's mind-boggling knowing what we gave up for someone that consistently dictates possession and tempo on the ice Quote
Kristian Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Boy, regardless of whether or not O'Reilly is scoring, he just completely takes over when he's on the ice. Can't remember the last time we had a guy like that. Quote

And do I ever like it. Can't remember the last time we had a guy like that. I'm struggling to think of another player in the league who is even like that. Quote
... Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Ullmark's post play and side-to-side movement are both fixable, especially since he's so young. Â That was just a young, rookie goalie mistake. The play that led to the goal notwithstanding. Quote
The Dominator Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Ahhh so close to his 3rd assist! Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Soon close. Kinda wish he shot that I stead of being fancy. Quote

Really? Toews, Kane, Getlaf, Ovi, Parise, ....it's nice to have that type of player but let's hold off on the coronation just yet. Quote
... Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Soon close. Kinda wish he shot that I stead of being fancy. The setup was perfect, he had to pass. Moulson was tied up by the defender at the right time, is all. Oops, looks like it was Moulson who had a "moment". Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Legwand has had a rough game. Quote

None of those guys play the game like O'Reilly though. They're all great possession players. But O'Reilly is so good at playing through contact. It really sets him apart. Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Eesh. Only 12 shots after two periods? If I recall we had the same amount vs. The islanders after two as well. Hopefully they step it up in the 3rd cause you know Vancouver is gonna come out angry. Quote

He is playing well and certainly making those around him better and that is good enough for me. Quote
Tondas Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Looks like Jack is learning the pro game. He's using his teammates much more. Exciting to see. Quote
3putt Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 On the sports net feed on of the color guys said Jack reminds him of Mario, the other two were ready to have fit but settled on Getzlaf. Lmao. God forbid They upset the great white north viewing audience. Quote
Kelly the Dog Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Seems like Pysyk and McCabe and Franson all make half rink passes tape to tape with regularity. We haven't had one d guy that could do that in years. Quote

I viewed it as more about acknowledging how talented Mario actually was and whether Jack was capable of living up to that. Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Legwand is breaking balls this afternoon. Why's he gotta be that way? Edited November 7, 2015 by mustacheofgod Quote

I viewed it as more about acknowledging how talented Mario actually was and whether Jack was capable of living up to that. I just thought it was funny how he was sorta taken to task. I have been fortunate to see Gretzky, Mario Orr, Beleveau Molginy, Bure Federov and Perreault live. Mario and Gilbert did things that I still can't figure out how they did it. I consider it the highest of compliments to mentioned in the same breath. But that's just me. No sog nice kill Quote
