Brawndo Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Lehner sat out today due to an apparent lower body injury. Ullmark to the rescue? The Amerks are in a playoff race, they need him more than the Sabres do. Quote
Eleven Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 The Amerks are in a playoff race, they need him more than the Sabres do. How does that work in the AHL these days? Top four from each division? Quote
clintwestwood Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 The Amerks are in a playoff race, they need him more than the Sabres do. Ah duh. Didn't even cross my mind. We'll get some Kasdorf action then. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 17, 2016 Author Report Posted March 17, 2016 Any time a GM gives up a first to get a goalie, I have to believe that he thinks that is the goalie of the future. And I still believe Murray should have drafted Brock Boeser with that pick instead of taking Lehner. Still on the Ullmark train and it hasn't slowed down yet. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 How does that work in the AHL these days? Top four from each division? Top Eight from each conference I believe, they are two points behind the Portland Pirates for the final spot right now Quote

Brawndo Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Kasdorf has a groin injury, a goalie recall maybe coming. Does Johnson get back to back starts for the Sabres on Friday and Saturday, with Markov/Lieuwen as backup? Does Ullmark get called up to play Friday so he be returned to Rochester for the games this weekend? Quote
dudacek Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 From the Rochester D&C: Over his past seven starts, Ullmark has allowed 29 goals, including at least five three times, and is 0-6. His last victory came on March 16. His save percentage over that stretch is .852 and has fallen from .916 to .902 for the season. His goals-against average over that same span is 4.66 (and 3.37 for the year). Quote

Ogre Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Or tonight in New York :( I believe they are looking for vital signs. Quote
Huckleberry Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 His first season in the NHL/AHL, kid didn't do to bad. It was up and down season which was to be expected, a good off season with his goalie coach should work out some of the kinks in his game. Quote

He had a 10 game stretch in the AHL that I could have duplicated. I'd be worried. Quote
