Huckleberry Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Jesus what is that car doing where people should be ? I might be drunk but that is to much. Quote
LGR4GM Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Ullmark's play seems more stable thus far. Quote
Huckleberry Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 There appears to be a ton of seats on the Islanders side of the blue line with no one there. I see a car taking up prime ticket spots. Weird. yeah Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Is that a car taking up 10-15 rows of prime corner seats in the 100 level? The 100-level seats on that side of the arena have to be collapsed to fit a rink in. All of the seats were built based on basketball being the only (presumed) tenant. There are a few temporary bleacher seats behind the Isles net, but otherwise no 100 level down there. Quote
Robviously Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 The Islanders white SUV would go from lame to awesome if they just let a different family sit in it and watch the game every night. Quote
... Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Their passing, in the main, is looking sharp. Quote
Jeanbe Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 When the Coyotes came to PHX we had obstructed seats but nothing like this . Wow. They gave up a privately funded rink for this? Quote

That's hilarious :D Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 I posted a bunch of pictures of the new configuration last year (with obstructed view pics) but I'm too lazy to find the pics. :) Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 That's so bad, it honestly looks like the ice is twisted. Quote

WildCard Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Hit The Reset Button Please. On what? I think this has been a pretty even period Does DD give a puck away every game now? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 What an unremarkable period. Quote
skaught Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 That's so bad, it honestly looks like the ice is twisted. Why are they selling those seats when 90% of the place is empty? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Why are they selling those seats when 90% of the place is empty? http://thebrooklyngame.com/barclays-centers-obstructed-hockey-seats/ From Day 1 it was clear the move to Brooklyn was a money grab and terrible for the fans. Personally, I think they'll move back out on the Island in a few years. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 I'm fine with an unremarkable period, the Sabres rarely play more than two average periods so if they can come out of this one scoreless, it's all good. Quote
hockeyhound Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 On what? I think this has been a pretty even period Does DD give a puck away every game now? Fighting for the center of the ice. Sure the Islanders are keeping it tight but, it almost seems like the boys are giving up the middle alittle to early. I'm not suggesting that the overall effort is not there because the skating did get better as the period went on; however, it just seems like its not clicking yet. Broken plays, etc. Maybe changing the line combos has a lot to do with it. I'm sure they'll get it together soon enough; Let's Go Buffalo! Quote
nfreeman Posted November 2, 2015 Author Report Posted November 2, 2015 I'm going to suggest that those who haven't actually been to the Barclays Center for a hockey game cease pontificating about what it's like to see a game here. Quote
