You guys do know that Halak was sick earlier this week right? You also know that the Islanders played last night too? Halak got beat up by the Devils. Not really surprising at all that Greiss is playing tonight. It isn't some slight against Buffalo.

Eh, I'd rather get a few garbage wins early this season so that the team doesn't sink into Edmonton status after the last two years of bottoming out.  They can graduate to "honest test" wins later.

Well, you can have your participation trophies.   :P

If we make the playoffs by one point in April, nobody will remember, or even give a crap who did or didn't play for the Islanders on November 1st.

ROCK'EM SABRES!!!!

Posted

Sabres' lines: Moulson-Girgensons-Gionta, Deslauriers-O'Reilly-Ennis, Larsson-Eichel-Foligno, McGinn-Legwand-Reinhart.

Sabres' defense: Gorges-Ristolainen, McCabe-Franson, Colaiacovo-Pysyk. Looks like Weber scratched on D and Schaller at forward.

Weird lines.

So we get Ennis back, but we throw Reinhart down. I always get so excited to see DD make the line moves but there is always one that gets me

It almost looks like an attempt to balance all 4 lines.

Weird indeed. I hate that we shackled Reinhart and McGinn with Legwand. That and Moulson continues to not get an opportunity to be with Eichel

and Eichel paired with two grinders.  we'll see what comes.

Even if he's just trying to balance the lines that looks a little bizarre.

It kind of reminds me of when Lindy used to sprinkle the likes of Gaustad and Mair into the top 6 to bring some "energy" to lines.  Didn't like it then either.

Yeah Jugs has brought a lot of refreshing things to this team, his line combos ain't one of them.

Yep, I hated it then and I hate it now.

Fun Fact Zadorov was a healthy scratch and Grigo played 7:10 with no SOG, today for The Avs

Has there ever been a team that traded a guy because they were basically forced to that got the better of the trade?

Answered my own.... Quebec/Colorado and Lindros.

Hey guys

GO SABRES!!

This was awesome, whether it was intentional or not  :worthy:

Ullmark hasn't looked any better than Johnson, but I suspect he's more talented.

Big chance for him.

For better or worse, that's a pretty perfect summary of our goaltending situation
