DirtDart Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 It doesn't read like he's back, it reads like he's dropping by to shame us. Thankfully not to fat shame. Eichel is soft pedling board work, Reinhardt is out working him, seeing Eichel despite talent being lost and timid at this point. Needs to pick it up. He has been off lately, cant quite put a finger on it. Quote
Stads Posted November 26, 2015 Author Report Posted November 26, 2015 For a second, I didn't think RJ was going to say it tonight. He did and my annoyance was rejuvenated. I'm more annoyed with the current outcomes, but "Yeichel" sounds even that much worse in a loss. Quote

Can you imagine a low, half-hearted Lalalalalala-fontaine? Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 "Smacked into the net by Eichel, Jack Eichel" or "Smacked into the net by Yeichel, Jack Eichel" Choose your preference. Quote

Too little too late, does it really matter... Just padding the stats in a losing effort... Edited November 26, 2015 by North Buffalo Quote

thesportsbuff Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Yeichel puts me to sleep. I don't get it, and I don't get why Rick loves it. Would never say a negative thing about RJ, but... this one is questionable Quote
woods-racer Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Some one on hear threw out the... Jack EEEE, Jack Eichel........ goal call. I like that. Very much. Please RJ, approve this message. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 This goal call is killing me. It's so cringe-worthy it's making Eichel goals less fun for me. Quote
Stoner Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 He owned that call. It is here to stay. I'll nail the quote on take two: Dunleavy/Duff will pry that call from Rick's cold, dead hands. Quote

I'll nail the quote on take two: Dunleavy/Duff will pry that call from Rick's cold, dead hands. Oh, I know it's here to stay. He even sounded defiant with that call...like he knows many have an issue with it and he's just like "F it and F you, I'm RJ and I do what I want!" That doesn't mean I have to like it. Quote

And another reason I won't be crushed when he retires. It started with Sahara for me... Quote
DR HOLLIDAY Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 RJ Rules, screw you guys........ Quote
Stoner Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 And another reason I won't be crushed when he retires. It started with Sahara for me... I do not remember this. Quote
Weave Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 I do not remember this. He used an unusual pronunciation of Sekera. I don't remember it being quite as bad as Sahara, but it was along those lines. Quote

Thorner Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 I like the Yeichel call, but call me Pavlov's dog. Quote

No, no, no. I can't believe people are forgetting RJ'S half hearted attempt at pronouncing Paul Szczechura. He literally calls him Sahara. Edited November 28, 2015 by inkman Quote
ubkev Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 No, no, no. I can't believe people are forgetting RJ'S half hearted attempt at pronouncing Paul Szczechura. He literally calls him Sahara. This is correct. Also, Yeichel is the worst call of all time. Quote
Stads Posted November 28, 2015 Author Report Posted November 28, 2015 "Now that's a Yeichel?" You gotta be friggin' kidding me. Come on Rick. Quote

inkman Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 Yeah I forgot. He was only here for a heartbeat. He was almost a tank buster. Thankfully RJ said it's me or Sahara. Quote
Stoner Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 He was almost a tank buster. Thankfully RJ said it's me or Sahara. Dude, he played nine games in 11-12. Let it go! Quote
