That Aud Smell Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 An usher got another puck from the bench and found the kid and gave it to him. Should've also found a blunt instrument with which to brain that tool. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 Who didn't see that coming? Chad ends up laying on the ice a lot. Tough to move when you're on your back/side. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 Every single time Gionta has the puck on the boards, within 3 seconds, the other team is heading out of the zone with it. Every, single, time. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 Well do we have another 2 goal comeback in us? Quote
WildCard Posted October 30, 2015 Author Report Posted October 30, 2015 Our defensemen are seriously awful at controlling the crease. It seems every time there's a loose puck in the area it ends up in the back of our net.True, but Chad is consistently over-committing and putting himself way out of position Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 True, but Chad is consistently over-committing and putting himself way out of position Yes, but I'm not going to kill our backup goaltender for being a failure as a starter. Risto and Gorges, however, are expected to be competent. Quote

They don't need to if he just absorbs the shots that go right into the crest. But yeah, the D is very bad in tight, and everywhere else really. So, who's coaching our penalty kill? Quote

... Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 It's all a learning experience. Maybe the entire D should take the night off tomorrow to watch from the press box. I'm sure that will help. Quote

True, but at some point he needs to start making NHL caliber saves. He's not new to the NHL, he was a good enough backup to play 27 games a couple of years ago and help Boston to a President's Trophy........ He needs to step up. He's making a ton of basic fundamental mistakes. His post to post movement sucks, his puck control sucks and his rebound control sucks. He's not solely to blame for all of our losses, but he has yet to do anything to win this team a game. Quote

hockeyhound Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) C'mon Murray find us a goaltender. I can appraciate all that Murray has done to this point; however, if we're going to have any success going forward something has got to be done soon. Even if Lehner can return from his injury, how long will it take him to get back up to speed. Half the season will be over by the time Lehner is back to normal. Ottosmagic13 Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 Except save the game in ot on Tuesday. That's what you expect from your back-up. Every once and a while he'll steal a game, but if you depend on him night after night your going to get more softies then surprises. Quote

Even if it's an old vet just sitting around waiting for a call, somebody that wouldn't mind stepping in for a bit. Vokoun? Tim Thomas? Forget the play of Johnson, if he gets hurt we're down to a 22 year old with one game experience and another goaltender that played half of last year with double vision. Quote
WildCard Posted October 30, 2015 Author Report Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) The fact that Eichel doesn't have an assist yet is criminal. He just beautifully set Larsson up right there. Edited October 30, 2015 by WildCard Quote
