Brawndo Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 Is Weber hurt or a healthy scratch? LBI Quote
hockeyhound Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) I doubt that the Sabres land a true number one goalie during this season. I have a hunch Murray will try to develop a goalie as this young team grows. Doesn't Murray run the risk of ruining team morale if they keep losing close games as a result of soft goals; especially if the guys are sacrificing so much of themselves, and get nothing to show for it? Or, does Murray tell them stop whining and score more goals. This is very disappointing. Crap, Kane gone. Edited October 25, 2015 by hockeyhound Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 We've been spoiled in goal since the early 90s. I miss being spoiled. Quote
3putt Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Our problem is all our forwards are trying to create. With the exception of Moulson, who does look to be fed, they are tryin to pass it into the net. We a Vanek type who floats to open ice waiting for the feed. Kane shoots, but he has the puck on his stick too long before he does. Moving centers to wing is part of it. They all want to hold it. Edited October 25, 2015 by 3putt Quote
wallybarthman Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 In fairness, if you can't score at least three goals you can't blame your goalie. Quote
Hoss Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 LBI No, Weber is a healthy scratch. Foligno has the lower-body injury. Quote
