... Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 The Foligno line...wow. This team just needs to get some goals. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 I saw pretty good effort in the second half of that period, but not a lot of possession. The best shift was the last one by the 4th line. Made some cycling passes that all the skill lines are missing. I agree with Flagg that Gionta's been pretty bad. Reminds me of his invisibility at the beginning of last season. Quote
SwampD Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Nice hustle by Foligno. Still should have been icing, though. Fluky goal. Pretty good first period. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 I liked the period. We'll warm up and play even better in the second, I think. Just gotta start burying chances. Quote
Stoner Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Weber and Franson are playing terribly tonight. This is what I was expecting when they originally were paired together. When Franson fumbled that puck at the blue line with about six seconds left, I think I decided to not like him. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 I think Foligno is going to score tonight. It's what he does against Toronto, and like has been noted upthread, he seems to be feeling it tonight. Quote
Weave Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 When Franson fumbled that puck at the blue line with about six seconds left, I think I decided to not like him. Ugh. I wanted to throw something. Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Whenever Jack Eichel finally clicks, and he will, dear god watch out. Quote
Kruppstahl Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 I love Brad May and his flying takedown of Shawn Antoski during the Barnaby/Snow brawl in '96 will forever remain a jewel in the crown of Sabre history... But he is horrible at his current gig! He is so nervous in front of the camera. He's actually very well spoken and a great story teller on radio. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Johnson always looks a little shaky to me. He makes most of the saves, but never really looks in control. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 What if they never score a goal again? Quote
Kruppstahl Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Johnson always looks a little shaky to me. He makes most of the saves, but never really looks in control. 29 years old, 61 career NHL starts. Says it all. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Holding? Huh. looked like he fell. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Whenever Jack Eichel finally clicks, and he will, dear god watch out. Almost. Quote
3putt Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Zemgus has been a horse tonight in all zones Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Spaling grabbed our Johnson. Quote
Neo Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 The beard behind Bylsma could post here. Quote
... Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 FWIW, Weber forced that penalty to occur. Quote
WildCard Posted October 22, 2015 Author Report Posted October 22, 2015 Why is Gionta not only on the pp, but he's taking the face off as well?? Quote
