hockeyhound Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Wow, sounds like alot of Buffalo fans are there Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Nice high shot. That's the only way to beat Roberto. You have to shoot it high or get him moving side to side. He covers everything low. Quote
darksabre Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Great screen by Reinhart on that goal. O'Reilly made the extra pass that we've been struggling to make tonight. Quote
French Collection Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Enzo! Him and O'Reilly manning the point. Nice screen by Reinhart. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 I've noticed our PP often times struggles on zone entries and to get set up, but once it is, it generally works quite well. Really nice sequence on that goal. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Risto and Ennis both have PPG thanks to Reinhart's Screens Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) YES! I've noticed that our powerplay looks MUCH stronger when we have forwards on the point. Puck movement and shots getting through increase significantly to positive results. Edited October 16, 2015 by Ottosmagic13 Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Risto and Ennis both have PPG thanks to Reinhart's Screens People want to send him to rochester, but screening is hockey IQ as well. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) I really wish there was a way to credit screens statistically. They're often more of a secondary assist than the one that gets tracked. Edited October 16, 2015 by TrueBlueGED Quote
Brawndo Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 I like the D pinching in on the rush Quote
Lumpy Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 This team is fun to watch. First game of the season I am seeing. The go into the zone with pace. The get some chances. Most of the team seems to have real skills. I get the feeling they will only get better and better as they play together more. Hope springs eternal. Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) I hate rinks where the benches extend into the offensive zone. Makes for to many stoppages with the puck being forced into the bench by defensemen trying to hold it in. Maybe I'm to use to college hockey but it seems like the silly rink-side announcer box takes up too much space... Edited October 16, 2015 by Ottosmagic13 Quote
pastajoe Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Wow, sounds like alot of Buffalo fans are there You can hear some of the individuals yelling given all the empty seats. I feel bad for the players with the lack of support in Miami. Bettman needs to give up and let them move to a city where they'd be appreciated. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Johnson needs to control his rebounds better Quote
darksabre Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 The pace has really picked up here late. Fun fun fun. Quote
hockeyhound Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Risto comin alive You can hear some of the individuals yelling given all the empty seats. I feel bad for the players with the lack of support in Miami. Bettman needs to give up and let them move to a city where they'd be appreciated. Amen! Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 The difference in this game is basically an extended 5-on-3 for Florida. Otherwise, pretty even. Quote
Nitro60 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 force the play...all or nothing time. Quote
hockeyhound Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) This is it, do or die; Let's Go Buffalo! Edited October 16, 2015 by hockeyhound Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Franson won the race for icing!!! Quote
Nitro60 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 The Sabres are showing fighting spirit. Hope it pays off. Quote
pastajoe Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 The difference in this game is basically an extended 5-on-3 for Florida. Otherwise, pretty even. And the lack of production from the Sabres power play. Quote
