Thorner Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Solid first with a big Johnson. Agreed. He'll have to be endowed with more starts after this performance. Quote
bunomatic Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) We're hangin with these guys. Johnson has been solid. The ice isn't tilted towards the Sabres end like last season. I likey. With a name like Johnson on the team its hard not to sound like innuendo at times. Edited October 10, 2015 by bunomatic Quote
Robviously Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Good first period. There are lots of empty seats in the 300s though. Not a good sign when it's the second game of the season and we have 10 more afternoon games to come. Quote
Stoner Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 That singer is not good at singing.. People who sing "Can-ee-da" annoy me. Quote
sabresith Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Nice first period for the boys. Once this team learns how to play with each other, they could be really dangerous. Quote
Stoner Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 It's been decades. Pete Weber 1997. Quote
Robviously Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Mark Pysyk just called Chad Johnson "Ocho Cinco" in the intermission. It's on. Quote
Stoner Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 The avatar bit was funny. How can you not love Eichel? Quote
skaught Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Mark Pysyk just called Chad Johnson "Ocho Cinco" in the intermission. It's on. I'm glad I'm not the only one that calls him that Quote
dudacek Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 That was a good period. No passengers, unlike Thursday. Matt Moulson's game is night and day. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 People who sing "Can-ee-da" annoy me.Well, someone's in a bad mood today :/ Mark Pysyk just called Chad Johnson "Ocho Cinco" in the intermission. It's on. Lol! Nice kill! Quote
Eleven Posted October 10, 2015 Author Report Posted October 10, 2015 I think O'Reilly looked just fine on that penalty kill. Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Listening on the radio and the first sounded much better than the opener. Nice to hear Moulson's name mentioned with positive additions. With that said, Dan Dunleavy needs to go. Trailing off into tangents during action, generally mixing plays making the action he does call hard to follow and his partner keeps cutting him off to say the exact same obvious thing. It took him to intermission to mention that Gorges got the Buffalo penalty. Ugh. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Is Peters any good on the radio? Quote
Mustache of God Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 I've seen maybe 7 or 8 different line combos today. Quote
Robviously Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Is Peters any good on the radio? Andrew Peters is the Andrew Peters of radio. Quote
inkman Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Much tighter in all zones. Look like a real ream. Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Is Peters any good on the radio? So far he's only added pretty standard stuff, he's been praising Zemgus all game. I'm just waiting for "in order to score goals you have to put the puck in the net" or something along those lines Quote
dudacek Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Our Johnson is bigger than their Johnson Quote
inkman Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Our Johnson is bigger than their Johnson Much Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 With all the line shuffling how can players be expected to get into a groove? I'd like to see some consistency... Quote
