JJFIVEOH Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Nice to see Rinehard with a standout game. A PPO goal, RS goal, SH goal and EN goal.....in order. Would that be called a natural cycle? Quote

Would that be called a natural cycle? Good question. I'd vote no, as it's missing the 2 other categories of goals (& no, not including shootout as a category). Quote
DirtDart Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Lehner has me slightly worriedHe doesn't look great, remember he has a lot of rust to shake off. That is the reason he is playing so much. He will be gtg come opening day. Quote

Brawndo Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 @BuffaloSabres: Multi-point night for these #Sabres: Reinhart, 3A Pysyk, 1G (GWG), 2A Gionta, 1G, 1A Deslauriers, 1G, 1A Guhle, 2A #TORvsBUF I like this next chapter Guhle deserves his 9 Game Tryout Quote
darksabre Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 So does Guhle make the team? He's having a heck of a preseason. Quote
X. Benedict Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 So does Guhle make the team? He's having a heck of a preseason. No. He's an athlete but there's little chance. The kid is getting lost out there at times . Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 No. He's an athlete but there's little chance. The kid is getting lost out there at times .Yep. Looks awesome for his age and draft place and look forward to his development, but I don't want him near NHL ice yet. Quote
X. Benedict Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Just my notes . Lehner looks awfully rusty he's not tracking the puck well at all. I thought McCabe had a pretty rough night with the puck on his stick . Pysyk might have been the best defenseman on the ice. He settles the puck, and is very quiet. He's on the roster IMO. ROR is a center, and plays bigger than he is. Love the control. Finally a center. Samson made every touch count. He makes great decisions with the puck. In time i'd like to see him win more puck battles. I love Gionta That was some ugly hockey at times . My first impression is The leaves are in for a long year . Babcock has a tough job. Quote
spndnchz Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Pysyk and Reinhart had great game. Quote
dudacek Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 (edited) After three games — exhibition no less — but I am starting to expect a team that will score a lot and give up a lot. It could be entertaining. Foligno and Deslauriers have potential to be the best fourth-line wing combo here since, well, ever. Ryan O'Reilly is incredibly good at forcing turnovers. Lehner remains a question mark. Justin Bailey is a long way away. Guhle playing all three games is a puzzling. I like him given what he is, but has he impressed that much? I really like Jake McCabe. His game was far from perfect tonight, but for some reason I feel confident when he's out there. Cody Franson just looks comfortable. Three games, three shorties. ...oh, and Sam Reinhart sucks. Did anybody except the official scorer even notice him? Edited September 26, 2015 by dudacek Quote

A good change of pace to the Reinhart will be fine meme. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Good question. I'd vote no, as it's missing the 2 other categories of goals (& no, not including shootout as a category). Oh well. Would have been a cool stat in a regular season game. Quote
Doohicksie Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Pysyk might have been the best defenseman on the ice. He settles the puck, and is very quiet. He's on the roster IMO. I was saying that two seasons ago. Can't wait for the Blue Jays to get absolutely destroyed be a NL team I'm kind of hoping the Rangers take care of them before they get that far. Quote

That Aud Smell Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 IIRC, GM TM has a big ol' man crush on Guhle. Still. Seems early to talk about NHL for a young 2nd rounder. Quote
3putt Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 I think they are giving Guhle as much preseason time as possible because to give him 9 games would require putting someone who may be part of the bigger picture through waivers. DB already said he is going back. Quote
