shrader Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play hockey in about 2 years now. I'm going to be playing next week so I was checking out my 2 piece stick yesterday to see if I needed a new blade. It's fine, but I noticed that its a bit loose. If I heat it up, pull the blade out and put it back in, should I be ok or would I be better off buying a new one? Thanks in advance.
BuffalOhio Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 You should be fine to just heat it up and put it back in. Wouldn't hurt to get some extra hot-melt glue in there, too. I just worked on my blade last night at about 8PM before I played hockey. Fun times.
shrader Posted April 1, 2006 Author Report Posted April 1, 2006 Yeah, it looks like it worked. Thanks.
Kevbeau Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 If you continue to have issues, try putting a piece of tape over the tenon and reinserting it into the shaft. Gives a tighter fit.
