You want to make the team, play defense, make a good hit..

I think these are not those guys.  I think these are the Andrew Peterses of the future.  They want to show themselves.

And yes, that is the correct plural.

I get it, but still, it's a scrimmage. No one is going to be impressed with a couple of fighters, fighting in an exhibition.

Who are the current "fighters" on the team? Not instigators or fight every blue moon but "fighters"?

Gold getting schooled.

Little Olaffson showing the most skill other than Jack for that side.

Im not really focusing on the D so much, but Flroentino stood somebody up nicely.

I wonder if McDavid seems as happy in Edmonton as Eichel seems to be here?

Photos and vid of him in Edmonton indicate that he's ok there now.  Bieber is just as smiley as ever.

Didn't get an assist, but McCabe with a nice pinch on the first goal.

And McCabe looks in control to start the second.

Dupuy picks Eichel's pocket!

Oh, please, please let this happen. Doesn't it sound terrific?

I was actually being a bit negative - I don't want drum organ sounds - I want organ sounds.  I don't want baseball organ sounds - I want traditional Sabres organ sounds.

But in terms of the crappy music - I'll take any organ sounds over that any day and twice on Saturday afternoon games.

McDavid would have scored there

Reinhart would have scored there.

I said the Sabres would get 101 points in the John Shannon thread - I might have to trend that down to 51 points after seeing these first 2 periods of Jack Eichel.

If you think about, watching it via the online feed is very much like being at a Sabres game in person over the past few seasons.

Still boring but I get to see the future.

Samson is beastly looking compared to this time last year.

He really is. Lots of work there.

Typical D-Camp Scrimmage. Bunch of guys with bad passes and all going to the puck and not positioning themselves well.

Didn't see this game last year, but Sam looks pretty much like he has in most other games I've watched him: in control and doing the right things.

I like what I am seeing from Dupuy.

I am very high on Baptiste, but he's shown little tonight. Not much from Rodrigues either.

Blue seems to have the more advanced players.
