Eleven
http://sabresdigitalpressbox.com/2015/07/06/dan-lambert-joins-sabres-coaching-staff/ So apparently he's not out on the ice just because he's Dan Bylsma's friend.
dudacek
Interesting hire. Not exactly a lot of high-level experience — five years assistant and one year as head coach in Kelowna. It's not like we lack experience on staff though.
shrader
Bylsma spent time with him in Kelowna this past season and now he's here. Interesting.
Iron Crotch
In his one year as head coach, Lambert led Kelowna to a ridiculous 53-13-6 record and the Western Conference title. They also went 16-3 in the Western Conference playoffs. Pretty impressive.
Doohicksie
Heir apparent?
LGR4GM
Heir apparent? He is a year older than Bylsma so I doubt that.
French Collection
Good mix with this staff. Bylsma has a solid background and has won at this level. Murray has played and coached in this league for a long time. May have some good discussions with his nephew. Barr is a long time journeyman. Been involved with a lot of pro hockey. Lambert brings some junior enthusiasm and some fresh insight to the ranks. DDB must have seen something he liked in his stint in Kelowna. 3putt
For our north of the border SSers, isn't Kelowna an NHL defenseman factory? Could be DDB likes the approach and it fits the system they want. Interesting addition.
