Johnny DangerFace Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 They do use microphones in the press during press conferences. Every single time. I couldn't hear one question in that recent press conference, that's the complaint Quote
Doohicksie Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 It wasn't a separate feed though. Feeding crowd mics into the arena's PA would have been colossally bad. What does the arena have to do with it? I'm talking about press conferences in that little conference room that they put up on the Sabres page. I couldn't hear one question in that recent press conference, that's the complaint Bingo. Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Luckily Gmtm Is interesting enough on his own Quote
Doohicksie Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Luckily Gmtm Is interesting enough on his own Except all too often, someone asks a question about a specific player and GMTM starts of with, "Yeah, well he...." and there's no way to know who the "he" is that GMTM is talking about. Quote

pi2000 Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Any idea why McCabe didn't participate in the 3-on-3 tourney? Quote
WildCard Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Any idea why McCabe didn't participate in the 3-on-3 tourney? Murray said he had a prior commitment, and stressed it was nothing serious. Probably a family matter or something along those lines Quote

Johnny DangerFace Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 That's the difference between you and me: I'm not smart enough for that. Just pretend he's talking about mike weber 100% of the time. Better game Quote
WildCard Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 That's got wedding written all over it. I think Murray's already married, but him and McCabe could make a cute couple I suppose Quote

Writer loses credibility instantly by calling the Sabres "one of the most frugal teams in the league" because of their payroll. Then details how they are throwing money around To O'Reilly. Quote

Then details how they are throwing money around To O'Reilly. Oh absolutely. Their writers are terrible, but it's a very schticky content website, so they don't put a premium on writing quality or even wholly accurate info. Just some funny articles. The commenters constantly call them out on it. Here's one just from that article: 'Sabres have the deepest pockets and some of the nicest facilities in the league so… No' Quote
