I am Defecting Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 They have priced me out of this whole decision making process. Last year, the scrimmage was free. Internet, cable, access, F you SwampD. You'll take me phone next, won't ye, barstard? wink. Quote
ubkev Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 A parkade? I'm assuming you live in the Alabama portion of PA. They don't call it Pennsyltucky fer nuthin. Eichel put a wrister through the net for a goal https://twitter.com/sabretalk/status/620256814559559681 Weak spot in the net. But this should help the legend of Jack. Quote
I am Defecting Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Wasn't in the game. For those of us who don't like to waste their time. Quote
X. Benedict Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 So glad i live in northern europe, honking is very annoying and the Italians are champions in it :D Horn is Italian for brake. Quote

I watched it probably around ~15 times. Jack's form is amazing. I love the way he starts the shot with his left hand. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Jack had a nice no-look assist, a toe drag goal in close, and walked around a d man, cut in front and went bar down today. Fancy. Quote

WildCard Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Highlights from the 3-3 tournament. Eichel shows some great hands at the 1:20 mark, and Reinhart has some very nice goals as well http://video.sabres.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=1018&id=832285&lang=en Quote
beerme1 Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 So, been busy. Went to the scrimmage and was impressed with Bailey, Samson and Eichel. Eichel while looking a little gassed still showed a burst a couple of times. He was able to go form his blue line to the other with people on him and made it look easy. A fight occurred. People stood up when Eichel had a penalty shot. It was a good time. If I recall they announced they were in fact going to stream it. If they did, where are the apologies? A lot of people got torqued about the issue so isn't there some feeling of well, glad they did that or something like that? Quote
inkman Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 So a lot of comments on the Sabres Facebook account cheering for Josh Chapman to make the team. I understand fans like fights and hits but dude was piloned for 3 straight goals Friday. He was the worst player on the ice.... By far. Quote

inkman Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 He really was. Dude can't skate backwards. I know Buffalo will embrace a winner but these fans were on their knees for a kid that isn't good in Juniors. Know your audience Sabres... Quote

SabresBillsFan Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) So a lot of comments on the Sabres Facebook account cheering for Josh Chapman to make the team. I understand fans like fights and hits but dude was piloned for 3 straight goals Friday. He was the worst player on the ice.... By far. That's people that don't know the game. His hit was a penalty that should have been called. He won't be getting signed by us. The Sabres need to focus on picking up some defenseman in next years draft. I'm kinda wondering if they are looking at trades to acquire a defenseman what young prospect is Murray gonna move. Edited July 13, 2015 by SabresBillsFan Quote

Georgia Blizzard Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Others have said it in the past... Can't they figure out how to get a microphone into the press so you can hear the questions? Agree 100%. I'm sick of both Sabres and Bills having press conferences and us not being able to hear the questions Quote

You think they deserve an apology? For what exactly? All I said was someone dropped the ball. And judging how minimal the stream turned out to be (just the score board feed with no crowd noise) it looks like it truly was a last second decision. Not complaining though. I watched the entire feed happily. But apologies? Uh, no. For a team that does everything top notch this was a misstep. Edited July 13, 2015 by PromoTheRobot Quote

My company has literally dozens of conference rooms set up for conferences where there are mics in the ceiling that pick up talking from the audience. It's not rocket surgery. Quote
SwampD Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 My company has literally dozens of conference rooms set up for conferences where there are mics in the ceiling that pick up talking from the audience. It's not rocket surgery. It wasn't a separate feed though. Feeding crowd mics into the arena's PA would have been colossally bad. Quote
