We may already have a thread on this, but if not the schedule is below. Is anybody planning on attending? I'll likely be there Monday and/or Tuesday.

On-ice camp sessions throughout the week will be open to the public and an intra-squad “Blue & Gold Scrimmage” will take place on Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the scrimmage will cost $10 and can be purchased at the Sabres box office and at Sabres.com. An intra-squad three-on-three tournament will highlight the final day of camp on Sunday, July 12.

The camp will feature approximately 40 Sabres prospects, including the team’s 2015 NHL Draft picks, all of whom are scheduled to participate in camp.

Attendees will take part in both on-ice and off-ice workouts. The goals of the camp are to show prospective players the fundamental ideas of the Sabres’ playing system and expose them to the conditioning programs of an NHL player. Camp participants will also study and examine NHL rules and the successful techniques a player must possess to become a professional athlete.

The full schedule of on-ice workouts open to the public at First Niagara Center is below. All times are subject to change and any updates will be posted at Sabres.com.

I wish I lived closer, does anyone know when training camp opens or when that info is released. I'm making a trip to WNY for Bills v *Pats on 9/20 and I'm hoping to catch a Sabres practice or two then?

Am I the only one curious as to the wording of the practices.  In the past, I only remember them being listed as practices, along with the times/dates...

On-ice coach’s practice:

On-ice skills practice:

On-ice testing:

I wonder what the differences are between the 3?

I would speculate that the coach's practice is to learn team tactics and systems (forechecking and defensive zone play, for example), the skills practice is to enhance individual skills (advanced power skating and shooting/passing/puck handling, for example), and on ice testing is probably a combination of performance benchmarking (measuring where their individual skills are at) and conditioning testing (heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring during intensive drills, etc).

Just grabbed a pair of tickets for my brother and I to see the scrimmage. Somehow on the ticket search suite tickets popped up so I jumped all over that. Obviously the amenities won't come with it but I've never sat in a suite before so it should be a cool experience.

If Eichel only was going to wear #41 for this week, why wouldn't he skate around with #15 or #9. (I know those are both assigned in camp but I am sure Eichel would have had upper hand).

Maybe not.
