pi2000 Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Hodgson signs in Nashville, one year deal. Strange. Doesn't seem like a Nashville type guy at all. Quote

Brawndo Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 @TSNBobMcKenzie: O'Reilly signs with BUF. Two year deal at $700K per. One way deal. That's CAL O'Reilly, Ryan's older brother. Guess we know who's next. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) I think Hodgson will do well in Nashville. Laviolette is smart enough to know how to best maximize his offense while hiding his defense. They also have a blue line and goalie capable of covering his mistakes. LGR4GM Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 We just signed O'Reilly for 700k times 2 years Quote

SabresBillsFan Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Is David Poille ever gonna figure it out. All his teams have had plenty of great defense but hardly any offense. Until he moves one of those defenseman for a proven offensive player they will continue to be knocked out of the playoffs without ever getting to the cup. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Keeping Ryan happy aside, that's actually a nice pickup for Rochester. Cal puts up points in the A. Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Is it legit or just a joke? Legit, very good AHL player Quote

Last year under Laviolette, the Preds were an offensive team. Finished top 1/2 in the league in goals. Scoring isn't a problem in Nashville. A lack of grit and size is. Poille is in love with finesse players. Quote
shrader Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 :censored: :censored: :censored: I hate this (as a Preds season ticket holder) They're paying him next to nothing. Even if he spends half the time in the press box it won't have much impact on their bottom line. Quote

LGR4GM Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Mark Spector @SportsnetSpec 38s39 seconds ago As my mother in law would say, the Kassian era in Vancouver was an ass full of wind. Lots of promise, then, meh... Quote

Iron Crotch Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Things you could say about Pittsburgh. Yeah, Pittsburgh has always gotten knocked out of the playoffs because they don't play defense... so they go out and get more scoring. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 I'm glad we've made a couple Rochester signings. Obviously not what we're all looking for, but it would be nice if they could be competitive. Quote
