WildCard Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 I watched it seven times and still can't figure out how the puck got over there.I think he flips it over the goalie from behind/side of the net Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 I think he flips it over the goalie from behind/side of the netIt did that, but not because he flipped it. Quote
Weave Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 It was the midichlorians. He controls them. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 Correction, he wasn't trying to pass yet, he was in the process of pulling it from his forehand to his backhand to try and get it to Legwand, and during that process it rode up the defender's stick instead and went where it did. Stoner Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) He didn't backhand it off the glass behind the net? (Guess not.) Edited January 30, 2016 by PASabreFan Quote
Randall Flagg Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 He didn't backhand it off the glass behind the net?He didn't step on it and kick it back to David while being hounded by a defenseman either. Quote
Hoss Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 I wonder if Randall Flagg has any insight into this play. If he did I surely would read it and not ignore it and imagine that Ryan O'Reilly made magic on this play. Quote

ROR is the man. Quote

SwampD Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 I actually think he was trying to pass it out to the point and it hit the defenders stick and popped up and over the goalie right to Legwand (teehee). Quote
pi2000 Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 Nice play by Grigorenko, steals the puck, leads the rush and makes a slick pass to Iginla for the go ahead goal late in the 3rd. https://www.nhl.com/video/iginlas-late-goal-gives-avs-lead/t-277996314/c-41508703 Quote
GoPre Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 (edited) O'Reilly hasn't had a goal since January 8th. He's been registering points in the assists department and doing well in the faceoff circle, but what happened to lighting the lamp? Tired from the amount of minutes he has played this season? A little bad luck? Any major change on his line? Now, I'm not putting down the guy at all. O'Reilly is a great player, and I still can't decide between if I'm getting his jersey or Eichel's. Just wondering what has happened to his goal production. I've missed quite a few games since the beginning of January (coach track and field). I'd just like to have a little input from those that have seen most of the games played since the beginning of January. Thanks in advance! Edited February 20, 2016 by GoPre Quote
GoPre Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 RYAN O'REILLY WILL BE FINE. I didn't mean that all. The guy is legit. No worries at all. I was just curious what happened to his goal production. Quote
Beer Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 I didn't mean that all. The guy is legit. No worries at all. I was just curious what happened to his goal production. My personal feeling is that he could have used the All Star Break off... But what do I know. He definitely logs a lot of minutes. The good news is that others have picked up where he dropped off. Go for the Eichel jersey. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 RYAN O'REILLY WILL BE FINE. ALL THOSE ASSISTS MEANS SOME SABRE HAS SCORED A GOAL. He's in the top 20 in league scoring for Pete's sake. Quote
Thorner Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 RYAN O'REILLY WILL BE FINE. Gotta say this is my favorite board meme. As long as O'Reilly is getting assists, it doesn't bother me that he's not scoring as many goals. They are both worth 1 point, after all. His assists have picked up where his goals dropped off. Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 ALL THOSE ASSISTS MEANS SOME SABRE HAS SCORED A GOAL. Teacher says, "Every time ROR gets an assist, a Sabre scores a goal." Or something like that. Quote
Huckleberry Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Grigorenko been moved up to center Duchene and Iginla. Was curious and went to some avalanche boards, and they seem to be happy with the move. Yes. Duchene has been far more productive while on the ice with Grigs than he has with any other forward. 4.68GF/60. The next closest is Soderberg at 4.18 but that's a very small sample size and after Soda it's Mackinnon at 2.55. Duchene has almost been twice as productive while on the ice with Grigorenko than he has been while on the ice with Mackinnon. Quote
