Jamie Benn is still such an underrated NHL player.  I really love that guys game.

 underrated by who?

He's a beast.

Pretty big news IMO. When's the last time the Laughs have had a jersey change? I'm really hoping the Penguins go back to their Mario ones

They technically switched in 2011 (different striping). They've made minor tweaks every few years. They're also going to have a Toronto St. Pats jersey in two years apparently (they were green jerseys). The jersey watch says they'll have several alternates in their 100th anniversary year.

They've tweaked their jerseys a ton of times, haven't they? Like you said, it's always minor shifting of stripes or even the outline of the logo.

Dubinsky with a nasty cross check straight to the back of Crosby's neck tonight which resulted in some nasty play afterward. Dubinsky appears to break his stick on Crosby's neck.

Crosby just returned to the game.

Best part was Dubinsky hit him again when he was on the ice and clearly hurt. Stay classy.

Flip the channel over during a commercial break from the Sabres game, and caught the play and replays.. The Pens announcers where shocked that Dubinsky only got a 2 minute penalty, as was I.

Dubinsky is a dirty player, in my eyes. I remember that playoff series a few years back between these two teams, was shocked at the crap that guy got away with on Crosby. The guy makes it his mission to cross the line when it comes to Sid, every time they play. No place for that in today's game.

Actually, the best part was that Dubinsky then set up the game winner in OT with a pretty sick play.

That was nice. I think he had 2 Pens and the goalie down on one side of the crease. Pass, one timer, open net.

Does Dubinsky have a personal thing with Crosby dating back years?

I've not seen Dubinsky intentionally try to injure (or at very minimum cheap shot) anyone else like that, even anyone else on the Pens. There's something going on.

I have to say this though:  Crosby is the first guy to start something with a cheap shot, then cry to the ref when there's retaliation.  He wasn't injured on the play.  Sorry, not sorry.

i'd rather have brad marchand as a son because then i can legally change his name to "schnozzy mcfartface" and he can't do anything about it

And the unreasonable anti-crosby bias continues.

You may be referring the anti Crosby towards fans, but it appears to be on the ice also. He doesn't seem to be a person that gets a lot of *good person/ good teammate* talk when his name is brought up.

How often do we actually hear about what type of teammate a specific player is? To narrow it down even more: same question but excluding guys who are low-skill.

The only time you really hear about the type of teammate a guy is seems to be when he doesn't offer much more or when he is known to be a bad teammate among his peers.

Crosby is a ridiculously talented hockey player, who in his prime is the best I've ever seen (I've only followed the sport for 11 years) and there is no indication that he is a bad captain at all. I am thankful that I've gotten to follow his whole career.
